Many times the Lowrance will not show fish sitting on the bottom in the mud and the Furuno will. Then there are time the Lowrance will not even show fish on the screen and the Furuno always shows them in fresh water or Salt

From 180' to 225' I will lay a damp towel over the antenna on the boom of the down rigger getting me 45' more but that is it.

I had no problems reading down to 400' a couple of weeks ago with my depth raider, not sure I need speed and temp any deeper. Man 400', my Depth Raider quits at 225', but the Fish Hawk on the other side of the boat reads down to 480' and does not miss a beat.

Ray They closed us down for 3 or 4 years....This is the 1st year we have been allowed to go get em ....These are not big, wait until you hook up a couple 40 Lbers or a couple 50Lbers then you know you have done something. Our winter run Kings will start here in about two weeks and there the big boys and girls , kind of like this one Ray

It was ruff, but we took the tow line on the planer board mast, ran it across the top of the cabin on the boat, then lashed it to the steel line on the reel . Are lake is starting to flip and the Bass, Trout and Kings are altogether now. In a few more days the lake will set up in it's winter mod
