For the first time since 2006 our lakes are filling up. Shasta Lake in Norther California, 100 miles south of the Oregon border is now at 19.75 from the crest. This is the lake our WCFT Pro/Am will be held Sept 25 &26 2010 Holiday Harbor

The song " FISH ON " according to Mark Keller's sectary was written while on a fishing trip in Oregon with his brother and cousin. Mr. Keller's from Oregon and at the age of 17 his family moved to Oklahoma and are now back in Oregon and California. Just a little trivia on a song made for fisherman all across the country.

That is what is happening out here in California. Our salmon fishery is and has been hurting and on the brink of extinction from the face of our planet. Well they are opening an ocean season this April and in my opinion, they are saying, "let's get rid of the salmon so the farmers and people down south can have water." It all boils down to money and greed, just my three cents. The funny thing is, these are the same people talking about global warming.
