Mark I sure hope these guys in Alaska,Canada,Washington, California and Oregon take to them the big water can be tricky out west at times. The bigger question is California & Washington hurt this year from lack of fish during the season. But we will be getting hold of retailers out your way as well. Out west they will have to be Barbless hooks you guys like Trebles we will adapt to everyone's needs..

Don Northern B.C Hello Stan. Just over 60lbs on your watermelon anchovie bait head. Thanks very much for the dodger as well. FYI I attach dodger directly to down rigger ball with bait head dragging just behind it so your just fighting the fish when they strike. That's what I love about the wire on your set up as it allows for perfect cripple roll without flasher/dodger on main line. 2nd e-mail I received today Hello Stan ..... here is another .... not quite as big but still a monster. We fish out of Kitimat in the Douglas Channel/norther B.C. Not unusual to get into 30's and 40's but much tougher to get into the 50+ range. Can't say enough about your lure .... in the past we used anchovies in a conventional holder and often you just couldn't get the roll right particularly as I prefer the flasher off the downrigger. All the best. Don

Sean is having a real bad day...OUCH

Could you be referring to a Shark Bobber. I run the same set up out here using a Shark Bobber . It really sucks for the guy reeling it all in and about 1/4 way in the fish gets off

You should look to Kokanee, they are a filter feeder would be a good food source for Kings. You would get a double salmon fishery out of it. Kokanee is at the top of the table fare for salmon

Salmon Showdown new season- (complete season)
stan replied to Legacy's topic in Open Lake Discussion
It's not so much about the size of the fish but the skills and techniques used by the winning team...Heck out here they have Kokanee tournaments these fish are the best tasting salmon not even hitting a pound each. For landlocked Kings Ontario has to be at the top of the list , Land lock Kings in California may hit 5 lbs for the average catch, if you hit the big Salty lake they reach 30 to 50 lb range depending where you fish. -
One of my three sons hit Pyramid today with their ladders to fly fish for Lahontan Trout. They hooked up 10 fishing from 3Lbs to 10 lbs releasing all. These Trout get up to over 20 Lbs

shawn393 It was down 160', now she is sitting at 70' down from full pool. The tourist and the valley people love it full. Best fishing is when she drops down 100' and better plus you go from 365 miles shore line down to 345' shore line. Mark The water is about 4' deep at the point of the outside board . Picked up 16 Bass and 8 Rainbow Trout. Heck of a day at sea Captain
