I got my "new" boat last November, just in time to cover it before our first real snowfall. It needed everything but a VHF marine radio, but the radio needed a new mounting bracket. I still have plenty of work to do before I'm ready for the 2018 season. I was ready for springtime before the end of 2017.
Lol, it was tempting to uncover my boat too, but I decided to just work on it with the cover on. I guess I was working "under cover" so mother nature wouldn't see me setting up my boat
Our 10 day forecast didn't look real promising at the time anyway.
In northern NY, March is cranking out more snow than February, and colder temps as well. We've had snow almost every day this month, and it's still snowing and blowing. Ol' man winter just keeps hanging around.
Thanks Mike, much appreciated! But no need to mail them to me. I plan on meeting you in Brewerton March 17th . But pics of what you have will help me decide what I need, since I don't have ANYTHING yet, lol.
Fishaholic59 and C Hammond, thanks for the info. There's no way our boat launches will be thawed before walleye season closes this month, so I have plenty of time to research things and buy my supplies.
Selling my Garmin GPS. It's a color unit and comes complete with a swivel mount, external GPS antenna, and 256mb data card. I have two fish finder/GPS units in my boat, so I don't need this Garmin. It works great and shows some bottom contours. The buttons on the front light up for night time use. There is a 110 page owners manual available online for free. That's where I got my copy from. I'm posting several pictures of screen shots. The data card is for storing waypoints and such, but there are still map cards available that have mapping software on them.
Asking $150 plus shipping in a USPS flat rate box. I'm located in Carthage NY, and I might be willing to meet halfway if not too far away.
