    Nice catch! Are you talking about the north shore of Oneida Lake? I've never fished Oneida, but I would love to this fall. Where is the nearest public boat launch to some walleye and perch fishing there?

    Thanks for the invite to fish with you. It seems like most fishing trips end up with just 2 people, and that's when AP comes in real handy, as you stated. I figured I better start researching now so that I can have one picked out and installed by next April.

    Thanks for the feedback, CK! I was looking at that Lowrance AP, but I run Humminbird electronics. It's worth doing more research to see what smaller HDS units can be linked to that AP.

    Which Auto Pilot To Get? I have a 1988 Crestliner Sabre 220 hardtop with an Evinrude 150hp outboard motor and rotary steering (mechanical, not power assisted). The boat weighs just over 2,000 pounds. My kicker motor is a 1980 Evinrude 7.5. I plan to run the AP off the main motor because the motors are connected with an EZ Steer system. What AP do you recommend I look into? I'll consider all price ranges, at least for comparison purposes. Does anyone run an AP on a similar size boat?

    88 Crestliner Sabre V220 Capacity Plate? My capacity plate is faded out real bad, and I am curious about the capacities for the boat. It looks like it says 10 persons, but that's all I can read (barely, I might add). It's the outboard motor model, 22' long, 8' wide. I believe the 89 model year was increased to 8.5' wide, so the capacities might be different. Thanks!

    I have a "new in package" Small Outboard Bracket, part #50010, asking $55, or will trade for a pair of inline planer boards or an 8" Special Mate stick bait box. Make some trade offers. I'll consider most things related to Lake Ontario fishing. The hose clamps for this bracket are twice as long as they need to be to fit my 1980 Evinrude 7.5hp outboard. This bracket fits all or most motors that are not listed on the EZ Steer web site. I live in Carthage NY. Buyer pays actual shipping cost in a USPS flat rate box.

    I saw some boat ramps on Google maps with NO parking, so I assumed those boat ramps belonged to a marina. One of them is probably the free public launch. The only reason I need a boat launch around Clayton today (Saturday) is to offer someone from Rochester a test drive in my Bayliner that I am selling. I hate for him to drive all the way to Clayton to look at my boat and not test drive it. Thanks for the info!

    Public Boat Launch In Clayton, NY? Can someone tell me where the public boat launch is in Clayton? I can't find it on google maps. The DEC web site says it's off Rt 12E on the north side of town, but that's not helping.

    I caught this 24lb beauty on a glow dill pickle J-plug in mid-August. No bait in his stomach, which was surprising.
