  1. Here's another report this morning from southern Jefferson County. http://www.wwnytv.com/story/35433539/erosion-alarms-lake-ontario-property-owners
  2. Lake Ontario Keeps Rising More homes are under water now, which equates to more damage from boat wakes. Here is a news report from May 15th in Pillar Point NY. http://www.twcnews.com/nys/watertown/news/2017/05/15/lake-ontario-waters-surround-pillar-point-homes.html
  3. Thanks for the report, and congrats on a good fishing trip! I'm glad you were able to launch in Dexter. I figured Sackets will be closed for another month because it's hard to finish all that road construction with the rain we've had.
  4. Maddog, you're welcome. I haven't launched my boat yet this year, but I've been keeping an eye on the water levels.
  5. I drove by the Chaumont launch today at noon and this is what I saw. I didn't check the depth of the water between the dry ramp and the floating section.
  6. Pap, I hope you don't have any more issues at camp. It's a lot harder to maintain things when you live out of state. I take my boat up to Cranberry Lake when I'm not fishing Lake Ontario. It's a nice change of scenery and better suited for quality, quiet family time.
  7. Seems like fishing has been better out of Henderson than Chaumont.
  8. Yeah, good point about the importance of water temps. It's supposed to start warming up a bit this week.
  9. Great job!
  10. I'm sure you are right about tight lipped walleye guys Landshark. I don't fish for walleye, I was just hoping to see some pics of what was caught. I've seen a few good reports on the forum from some of those guys. drlfc, thanks for the report! Sounds like you had a good day on the lake.
  11. I hope they have a good spawn this year and give us many good small mouth seasons to look forward to.
  12. It seems to be a mixed bag of fish being caught around Chaumont. I've seen pics of some really nice small mouth bass this month.
  13. Thanks for posting, nice looking fish!
  14. Pics of Flooding, Henderson Harbor to Alenandria Bay Here is a local news report that shows some flooding from Henderson Harbor, NY to Alexandria Bay, NY. The photos are dated May 7th and 8th. http://www.syracuse.com/weather/index.ssf/2017/05/check_out_flooding_in_from_henderson_harbor_to_alexandria_bay_photos.html#incart_river_home
  15. Winter In May Woke up to a heavy dusting of snow this morning. I hope all the stern drive boats are ok with these cold temperatures.
  16. There are some entries on the LOC leader board from Henderson Harbor but no one has posted any fishing reports or pics of their fish. I know it's been slim pickin's out of Jefferson County but there are some fish being caught.
  17. Snow is tapering off now. I'm glad it didn't stick.
  18. Thanks Bob! I forgot to ask if it has a charging system.
  19. Now It's Snowing This has been a crazy 2017 as far as weather is concerned. A thaw in January, then a freeze, then a bigger thaw in February, then a really cold month of March, and a few warm days in April (near 80 degrees), then all this rain. Oh wait, it stopped snowing already Oops, spoke too soon
  20. Thanks for the reports, and great job out there!
  21. No problem. You can contact the DEC if you have questions about what has been stocked and what hasn't been stocked. Good luck and welcome to the forum!
  22. Thanks for posting the pic!
  23. Is it a 20" or 25" shaft? Tiller steer only, or controls?
  24. You can check the DEC web site to see where they are stocking brook trout. That's a good place to start. http://www.dec.ny.gov/outdoor/30465.html
