  2. Both of those spoons catch fish but I suggest the 4” red eye wiggler. Nickel.gold,and 5 of diamonds are best for me. And the fish don’t care when the eyes get bit out which they will.

  5. Third annual Big Baller musky tournament is coming up. October 30th from 7am to 3pm at Chautauqua lake. Registration at Pendergast launch from 6am to 7 am. $100/angler. CASTING ONLY. 100% payout. 50% for first. 30% for second. 20% for third. Team event with three biggest fish on the point system. 30” fish is minimum to enter. Code word will be posted the morning of tournament and must be visible in photos.

  8. 36 anglers came out and entered 9 fish. First place to Jesse Tynell and Anthony Muro. Second place was Mark and Dan Graziano. Third place went to Joe Dolan,Chad Lapa and Larry Lapa. Joe Dolan took big fish with a 39.5. Chapter 70 won the chapter challenge 37 to 40. Thanks for coming out and sorry if I spelled your name wrong.

  11. Waneta tournament is Saturday September 25th. 7am to 3pm. Registration at launch 6am to 7am. Members $25. Non members $30. Optional big fish pool $5. Under 16 free. Awards immediately after at the Boathouse at Waneta,formerly the Waneta Inn. This is a New York free fishing day so it would be a good day to get someone new out. This is the annual chapter challenge with chapter 70.

Optional big fish pool is $5. Everyone who pre pays gets in a drawing for this 12” Baker. Awards,food and bait raffle afterwards at lakeside park in Mayville. We are using a code word instead of buttons here. So if you pre pay you can launch anywhere without traveling to get a button.   25. Was surprised it was free. At Conesus they have an atm kinda thing you pay at. But they weren’t charging this year,at least not the half dozen times I went there. As for garbage,it seems like every shore fishing site is a mini landfill. I’m 68 and I say it’s always been like that,sadly. Tired of picking up after slobs but I still do.
