Snapping turtles, ducks, geese, herons, deer, racoons, etc please wash thoroughly before entering and after leaving the lake. If you have a freighter with a bilge full of milfoil, mussels, and gobies welcome to new york.
I almost bought a 619v ranger this winter. Even had the wife's ok. Had to drive to Pa. to see one. While researching i learned they have paid millions to the ranger cup and given away 108 boats to tournament winners. I am not knocking ranger, they make great boats, but you are paying for all that pr when you buy one.
Try this;pick two boats you like and subtract the cost of the motor(s),electronics, and any other expensive options. Then see if you can justify why a lund or a ranger tub is twice as much as a tracker or whatever. I'm not endorsing or trashing anything here.
I stayed there a week two years ago in july. I stayed on a place in the channel by old forge. I never fished past first lake because i was catching plenty of pike there. I figured i would get a tiger sooner or later but never saw one. My best bait was my trusty nickle red eye. I caught some stout largemouths as well. I don't troll at all,all casting. Find weeds and pike are there.
Cast for six hours. Bass after bass.never moved a muskie.the two white spots in the tree are eagles. Never seen two at once before. Water was 63 and not real clear. Nice job on the deck,Justin! Love the sign. I wonder if i got a bass boat and targeted them if i would catch more muskies?
Someone will always call you out for live bait rigs, bad holds, wrong net, boga grip, lightweight tackle and so forth. Yet we're all trying to put up to 9 hooks in it's face, fight it to exhaustion, and hold it where it can't breath.
i've been using mine longer than that. My wife called once and they told her we could get one we could use while towing that would charge for the extra axle. But i have 2 trailers and one has two axles so i would need three passes for my truck. I just use the regular one.
