    My first time there today. Really nice launch and marina. Pretty good turnout considering the weather. It started raining as soon as we launched and stopped as we were loading up. Caught a nice bunch of fish but they were all lmb. You know you’re a musky guy when you curse about 5lb bass. We caught bass on every lure we threw today. Never saw an esox but water clarity is only 3ft or so and my glasses were wet all day. I don’t know who won or what was caught as I left before the awards cause I was cold and wet.     I was walking my dogs at Fair Haven this morning and saw more perch in one spot than i could even believe. Mostly small but plenty of decent ones. Quite a few lmb there as well.     I need to replace my two deep cycle batteries for my 24 volt trolling motor. Last time I spent big bucks for optimas but I am not impressed. Didn’t perform better or last any longer in my case.     I go there every year to watch the spawning run. I’ve seen DEC guys there keeping an eye on things. And I’ve seen pinheads fishing in the inlet near the dam after the season closed. Sent from my iPhone using Lake Ontario United

    There’s a decent hand launch and parking area at the south end of Otisco as well. I’ve caught a couple there this time of year. There is also a small parking area at the north end but you have drag your boat a ways Sent from my iPhone using Lake Ontario United
