i did the early bear hunt 4 years ago... we where above piseco on state land . hiked a mile off the dirt road . but saw no sign of bear . i would say if you do go in the mountions try an find berries , or even a early mast goin on...

i sure do hope these bucks are around this season. just had to add that fish was caught in the creek this spring that runs through the property

ill agree to that . this will be the 2nd time the lower food got flooded , been rainin on and off pretty hard since 5 pm.

it sure will be custom built . spent pretty much all day workin on it . itll be like always , guys see the rods poppin and guess what , rite on top of ya!!!! . and in my old ,custom boat ... as long as it floats , and runs , for sure the deck will get slimed ...

no flowers , but may have a idea musky!!! lol . its my project , it will be awhile before shes done . little work here and there . im just ready to fish , bein a observer last year for oswego and sodus pro ams last year really put a fire under my *** ... so ive been cleanin , settin up , gettin rods out , puttin fresh line on , etc. today is the motor , oil change , lower unit inspection , ect. she wont be the prettiest out there , but im not out there for show and tell , im out there to put fish in the boat ....

got the tansducers on , one on either side . all is powerin up good, time to fire up the the motors . wife is sewin up the top . cant wait to get out there .

well i missed out on the foshin for acouple of years . now im doin it again. i have a garmin 430s combo , speed and down temp , marine radio. my thought is interference . i have a feelin the the 430s may not be strong enough for the deeper water but it will have to do for this season . i feel like im startin all over again. not really . ill be runnin only divers this season , which can be real good , when the fish are spooky . is 30 # mono good for the smaller dpsies .

we fish out of sodus alot .. and if i remember correct we fish for the kings deep and run the planners out with stingers and put a good size split shot on the main line and let it out . so ya have to play around and watch the graf . this is my first season out in a couple years , and the programs i ran before will be ran again this season...

i know we hammered them on the last brown trout derby . we used thunder sticks in the mornin a nd as the day went we used stingers . leaders in floro , limited out both days . used the same program out of sodus and did the same . that program is really good for steelies out deep to . 1.2 to 2.0 is really all i run for browns .

9 ft lite spinn . 8 # main line 6#and 4# tip. all sorts of baits worked under the float . today i did 5 . usin 2# tip . only 1 on the fly rod with a result of another fat nancys fly gone . big fish ,and to be honest , if i landed the fish it would have been a miracle . sorry no pics , it was a last minute plan...

hey there , long time no talk adam .. redy for splash down or what!!! jin clear water about 30 yards or so from shore as of yesterday thats why i want to run them browns , there fish are in the tribs ... so im goin to hold off till the sucks mess the bite up , then the browns , steelies , rainbows will be comin out of the trib and it will be 4 , 5 fish on at the same time like always til the sun comes up . last week i caught over 30 trout mostly browns , this week its about half and half . did only 2 today . both fish when back . and the bottom fish was real fresh , just came in .

im with you , how bout for the late season , have the week of bow and then xbow , cause they are faily quiet , then black powder , split them up... an extra week ...?

yeap weighed it ,and 31" when i got home , so it was longer , do to shrinkin, and it may have weighed more to , cause of the time it was out of the water, mabe poor pic takin , but im a straight shooter , fair chase when it comes to huntin an fishin

well i didnt get to the lake but a lake o trib ... mix bag of trout , 11 fish to the bank and had 15 on , flies were it today . pic with me holdin the steelie , it was 16.5 pounds and 31 inches long.
