  16. Heavy rains in NE made these huge browns run. Some were bigger than these, but most of them had lockjaw. Tried everything but flies which was probably the ticket. So we sat back and watched them do their thing. Next day they were gone.
  17. Boat is still available
  18. With a good rain, there will be fish out front later in the month. Last year there was just a trickle of water and I was catching fish at first light. Be still and silent for the bite only lasts for about 45 min then there gone!
  19. Yes tree top I have many hours trolling that river and the cats hit the stickbaits like a train. I caught one by kodak that was 18lbs and hit a j9 off an inline board. I didnt do much trolling in the river this year but man do I miss it.
  20. where is the eye on that fish if any?
  21. Love them cats from the Grand banks on Ugly Stickes
  22. Nice mudline to russell late this afternoon
  23. You will need head lamps and halogens and any other type of light source. Downriggers work the best with glow spoons but j plugs will work even if they are not glow. Never tried a flasher fly because we have are confidence lures but they might work well. Usaully troll under 30 fow around the river mouth and stop at 9pm. The action seems to slow an hour after dark, maybe theres another magic time before dawn. I would say most fish come around 8 to 15 down with spoons, good luck and be safe.
  24. That is weird! We got out there when the bite ended and the wind started to blow. Started late and played in the creek plume which was 58 degrees and went to 50 fow in a small spot. Lots of marks but no takers. Do you know if Paul had bass in his fish?
