Well , as of late the bite hasn't been much better on the North end, must be a transition period seems the fish are there but jsut not willing to get to excited over anything. Even when you get a good bite on a bait seems the next time they want nothing to do with it. I think weneed to import osme Big O fish they seem pretty hungry up there
On the right day it would be fine on any lake even Big o as long as you don't go to far cause the lakes can change fast, Seneca can also be squirrely, you would be fine on Keuka, Honeoye, Conesus, Canan etc. just about any day but storms
LOL, that buoy wa a hell of a catch, showed us how fast we could bring in a 10 rod spread Was a fun day regardless of hte derby placement, any day the Canan gives up 8 of her bounty I think can't be a bad day. Looking forward to the next trip. And I hate to wish for ice already but I will
When we weighed in yesterday big fish was a LT 13lb and change, bows were all 5-5.9, Browns were in the 8lb range and LT division was in the 8lb range. Yesterday was a tough bite, we fished 5am-1 with a 10 rod spread nad did some lure washing, bite picked up a bit around 11 but we couldn't manage anything bigeer than just over 5lbs.
A few pics to go with the post. Great times on the Brown Hown'd as usual, it was Bow madness, well except for that last fish Capt'n Mike got into, man what a fight it put on, wait, turns out that was a untripped Dipsy Fish
