  2. Thanks to all , here are a few more more last season . Trapping is very relaxing to me . It's also like Christmas everyday when you check your sets . It's a great way to wind down after work with my son . I also feel so close to nature and God when I am making sets . If you don't trap you should get into it . You will love it . 3. I catch Fisher all season in my coyote sets . This is just one of them from last year . On the same property. I have to release them and it's not fun . I wont even set in the woods anymore. It's a guaranteed Fisher catch . Sent from my SM-J327V using Lake Ontario United mobile app
  4. Here's a few from last season . My sets are going out on Saturday. Sent from my SM-J327V using Lake Ontario United mobile app
  5. The wife is asking me what I want for Christmas. I have never fish with copper before and want to try on my new boat this year. I'm looking at the priest build setups at Captain Chuck. I see they come with drag upgrades. Would it be safe to buy the convector or should I go with a better real. Also what length setup should I go with and Rod recommendations. I will run one copper off each side on boards thank you to all Sent from my SM-J327V using Lake Ontario United mobile app
  6. Okay guys need some suggestions here. Putting away my new boat for the winter. What do you guys use to keep mice out. Mice are a problem where I live because there is a giant field behind my house. The boat is being stored in my pole barn. Thanks Sent from my SM-J327V using Lake Ontario United mobile app
  7. To be honest I wanted the one with the bench seats in the worst way. But this one was on a dealer's lot and the price was good. I've only had it out twice since August and that was just to break it in. So far I love it and can't wait to really get it out fishing hard. Lots of room for me and my two sons and my father. The only reason I bought it is cuz my dad is getting older and I want to make sure I make memories with him and my sons. We all love fishing and I'm just paying it forward with my dad used to do for me Sent from my SM-J327V using Lake Ontario United mobile app
  8. I bought a brand new Crestliner Commander 2050 this year. From the get-go I told the dealer that the full enclosure package in the Bimini top was too short and did not cover my two rear seats. With much resistance Crestliner sent another full enclosure package to my dealer and it had the same issue. The Bimini top was 6 inches short of the two rear seats and the rear drop curtain was laying on your head if you sat in them. I insisted to the dealer that something was wrong the template was wrong and it was made for the commander with bench seats on the sides. Crestliner went to engineering and measured two commanders coming off the line last week. I was 100% right the commander with regular seats and not side bench seats full enclosure template was wrong. The email I finally got back from was Crestliner at this time Crestliner does not have a template for the full enclosure package for the commander with 2 seats in the rear only side bench seats. We are working diligently with engineering to get this situation taken care of. So anybody who has a commander with two rear seats and not bench seats with a full enclosure package should contact their dealer. This has been an ongoing battle since August. And if I wasn't such a persistent jerk I would have been left with a rear drop curtain that sits on top of your head when you're sitting in the rear seat. If you own a new commander and have noticed this problem I would definitely contact your dealer Sent from my SM-J327V using Lake Ontario United mobile app
  9. Here is the problem that I face with pumping glycol in. These screens on my new boat are on there very nice and secure and I don't want to mess with them. One is for my wash down the other is for my Livewell. I'm assuming the open one is the drain for the live well. I don't truly know as I've only had this out for a few hours and it is barely broken in. Any recommendations would be great thank you Sent from my SM-J327V using Lake Ontario United mobile app
  10. Thanks to all I will be doing it next weekend Sent from my SM-J327V using Lake Ontario United mobile app
  11. I know that I need to drain a live well but what about the live well pump. I didn't know if it drained by itself Sent from my SM-J327V using Lake Ontario United mobile app
  12. Looking to winterize my new boat. I've never had a washdown system on my boat before. How do I keep everything from freezing also do I need to do anything to my live well Sent from my SM-J327V using Lake Ontario United mobile app
  13. Had this laying around for a while. Didn't know if anybody would be interested in buying it. I see they go anywhere from 50 to $500 on eBay. Not expecting $500. Don't even know what it's worth but make me an offer if interested. Sent from my SM-J327V using Lake Ontario United mobile app
  14. I think it is cruel to the animal . That first one can't even hold up his head . Also what kind of hunter goes to a deer farm. No sense of accomplishment there . On a good note it keeps the rich city boys out of the real woods . Just my opinion Sent from my SM-J327V using Lake Ontario United mobile app
  15. I will keep you in mind. Mine are all 47 though Sent from my SM-J327V using Lake Ontario United mobile app
  16. Thank you to all. Would you guys bother rebuilding accudepth reels Sent from my SM-J327V using Lake Ontario United mobile app
  17. How do I get my reels to Tuna Tom . I've heard a lot about him but I Google it and it only comes up Tunas. I have some Penn 320 GTI and Okuma convectors, that I want to get rebuilt. I don't know if I should bother with the Daiwa accudepth even though I have six of them. Any other recommendations or how to get ahold of tuna Tom would be great thank you Sent from my SM-J327V using Lake Ontario United mobile app
  18. I will be interested to hear the responses from this as well. I would like to Target large brown at some point. Just got to figure out how to do it Sent from my SM-J327V using Lake Ontario United mobile app
  19. I am going to try it next time I'm out. Thanks again Sent from my SM-J327V using Lake Ontario United mobile app
  20. No it's tiller handle Sent from my SM-J327V using Lake Ontario United mobile app
  21. No but there are both holes that hold the carry handle on. I believe Mercury makes a bracket that will bolt there and I can attach the rod to. Another gentleman pointed that out yesterday on the same form. If I'm understanding it correctly Sent from my SM-J327V using Lake Ontario United mobile app
  22. I read one of your older posts and thought about doing that. But what do you mean by tilted slightly towards the big motor? So the propwash is going towards the center of the boat Sent from my SM-J327V using Lake Ontario United mobile app
  23. Thanks to all again Sent from my SM-J327V using Lake Ontario United mobile app
  24. Yes I need that bracket . Do you know where you got it . Thanks again to all Sent from my SM-J327V using Lake Ontario United mobile app
  25. Thank you very much for those. Do you know what brand steering system that is. Also does yours have a tiller handle because I see those two bolts on mine but I believe my carry handle would be in the way of that. Thank you again Sent from my SM-J327V using Lake Ontario United mobile app
