Just picked up my new kicker today. I can't figure out how I'm going to tie the two together. Any suggestions would be great. There is no holes to put a panther steering bar in the handle of the other motor. Also the motors are at two different heights

You are right I contact Lowrance. The elite TI is only compatible with the bow mount motor. Any recommendations for another autopilot for the main motor Sent from my SM-J327V using Lake Ontario United mobile app
What kind of issues are you having. Is it anything with Motor Performance or breakdowns. Starting to worry me Sent from my SM-J327V using Lake Ontario United mobile app
I did my initial two hours at varied RPMs under 4500 and Full Throttle for 1 minute every 10 minutes. The next step is to not run it for more than 5 minutes at Full Throttle. Is it okay to troll for long periods of time with this motor now Sent from my SM-J327V using Lake Ontario United mobile app
That is exactly right. I have a Lowrance Elite 9 TI . Apparently that is compatible with the Lowrance Outboard autopilot hydraulic steering kit. It's about a thousand bucks for the kit. It also looks very easy to install. I have no reason to believe why that wouldn't work Sent from my SM-J327V using Lake Ontario United mobile app
I think I see what you're talking about. I just went and looked at mine and there's a hole on each side pre drilled Sent from my SM-J327V using Lake Ontario United mobile app
Thank you is that the Panther system. I can't see exactly how you attached the ball to the main motor. Sent from my SM-J327V using Lake Ontario United mobile app
If possible could you please send me a picture of your setup. That's the tie bar I want to use but I can't figure out how it would go on the hydraulic arm. Thank you Sent from my SM-J327V using Lake Ontario United mobile app
My new 9.9 Pro kicker should be here any day. I want to tie it in to my new 150 four stroke on my Crestliner Commander. My dealer mentioned something to me about a Mercury tie bar system but it was relatively new and he didn't know much about it. What do you guys recommend for tying the two Motors together. I want to put a Lowrance autopilot on the main motor over the winter so what kicker autopilot is out of the question. As that would steer both Motors were the tie bar system. Unless you guys have other ideas. Sent from my SM-J327V using Lake Ontario United mobile app
I believe the swivel base will but the new stx will come with all new mounts including a swivel base Sent from my SM-J327V using Lake Ontario United mobile app
Should I add it to my first tank of non ethanol fuel in my brand new 150 four stroke . Dealer said it is ok but what do you guys think . Is it actually a fuel stabilizer Sent from my SM-J327V using Lake Ontario United mobile app
I had work obligations the weekend after I picked it up. This weekend I finally got it rigged with a depth finder. And also had a wedding to go to. Next weekend is the weekend I can finally get it out. It's killing me LOL Sent from my SM-J327V using Lake Ontario United mobile app
How did you get that bar across the top for your rod holders. I would love to do that with my new Crestliner Commander Sent from my SM-J327V using Lake Ontario United mobile app
