  1. I run a mercury 9.9 pro kicker when trolling. Is that enough to avoid downrigger issues or is there something else I should be doing. More and more u wish I bought scotty. Sent from my SM-A505U using Lake Ontario United mobile app
  2. I had little to none out Oswego yesterday. I run 30 pound big game though. Sent from my SM-A505U using Lake Ontario United mobile app
  3. Can you reuse a cannon Terminator. I'm going to get rid of the blacks swivel and move it up on the cable with a Scotty Auto Stop bead to keep it above everything Sent from my SM-A505U using Lake Ontario United mobile app
  4. Not sure but I want to get it figured out Sent from my SM-A505U using Lake Ontario United mobile app
  5. I think when I let it down too fast the line goes parallel with the cable and wraps around it. Maybe I will start letting it down with the clutch Sent from my SM-A505U using Lake Ontario United mobile app
  6. I can't right now. It's just a cannon Terminator to a blacks release to a snubber then the Shark weight . If it's the probe rigger it goes Cannon Terminator to a blacks release to the probe and then on the bottom of the probe is a snubber and a shark weight Sent from my SM-A505U using Lake Ontario United mobile app

  11. I didn't bring my cooler today because I decided I was going to start releasing salmon. Caught a beautiful mature king on the dipsy . He was out of the water for Less Than 3 minutes. I held him beside the boat for a good 5 minutes and set him free. I watched him float on the top I could not get the boat turned around fast enough to go get him. Same thing happened with a steelhead. Do you guys have any luck releasing these fish I'm just going to bring my cooler from now on because that was sickening Sent from my SM-A505U using Lake Ontario United mobile app
  12. Seen the rod bouncing in the downrigger rod holder. I figured I had a Shaker and try to pop the rod. It would not go so I knew exactly what was wrong. Brought the ringer up and found the line all tangled around the cable with the fish trailing behind . I have mag 10 STX I let them down 15 to 20 ft at a time and stop for the line to catch up and this still happened. Any ideas or tips. I'm not sure exactly what is happening but this will be the third time Sent from my SM-A505U using Lake Ontario United mobile app

  17. So I have a 21 foot Crestliner Commander with a 150 horse Merc and a 9 9 kicker. When its choppy out the kicker doesn't push the boat too well and the 150 will not let me troll slow enough going with the waves. For my boat size it recommends a 22 inch bag. If I'm going to put one off of each side should I downsize or go with two 22 inch bags. Sent from my SM-A505U using Lake Ontario United mobile app

  23. Has anybody ever had this problem. They're all Kingfisher 2 . I had them stuffed in a plastic tackle box fairly tightly. Not sure how it happened but I'm wondering which ones are actually the good ones. I guess I'm going to have to run them off the side of the boat and see how they work.
