  1. Where can I get it in Oswego. I didn't realize how quickly atommik sells out of his . I won't make that mistake again . Thanks.to all Sent from my SM-A505U using Lake Ontario United mobile app
  2. Is it open yet and can you launch there still . Thanks to all Sent from my SM-A505U using Lake Ontario United mobile app
  3. If you are referring to the directions for my Fishhawk. Then yes I did read the directions. It actually states that the double swivel is only rated for 12 lb. So when I called Fishhawk they recommend using snubber with anything that heavier. I am running 16 pound shark weights. Other than that I'm not sure what directions you are referring to Sent from my SM-J327V using Lake Ontario United mobile app
  4. Thanks to all again. So how does adding another swivel stop the issue of it going down too fast. It seems to me it's going down so fast with the short lead off the ball that the line then becomes parallel with the cable. I believe that is when my tangle is happening. I'm running Scotty snubbers and no Breakaway cable on the prob rigger . It is very annoying I never had this issue with my original mag 10s Sent from my SM-J327V using Lake Ontario United mobile app
  5. Thank you to all that is where I thought it was. What's the point in having a high-speed rigor when you can't drop it with the switch. Sent from my SM-J327V using Lake Ontario United mobile app
  6. So I am using blacks releases. I have been downrigger fishing for 15 years. So I know how to attach to the release. In two of the last three trips my line has been twisted around the cable and would not ever realise if a fish hit . The only thing different is I have a new boat and have upgraded my downriggers to the high-speed STX mag tens. Is something happening when the downrigger ball goes down so fast. Or is it just a coincidence Sent from my SM-J327V using Lake Ontario United mobile app
  7. Thanks to all Sent from my SM-J327V using Lake Ontario United mobile app
  8. I'm going to use my first ever copper rig this weekend. It's a three hundred footer and I'm going to get another one to match for the other side of the boat. I'm going to be running it off my big boards with some Scotty power Plus releases. Do I need to deploy the copper first before my Dipsy or can I run it right over top of my Dipsy. Thank you Sent from my SM-J327V using Lake Ontario United mobile app
  9. Is Hughes on sodus bay . If not where is is . Thanks Sent from my SM-J327V using Lake Ontario United mobile app
  10. Trying to plan a trip with the kids this weekend or next. Are the launches open up there. Sent from my SM-J327V using Lake Ontario United mobile app
  11. The gunnels are boxed . I drilled through the top and bottom. Then I ran a long 3 inch bolt through both sides and used heavy fender washers with lock washers and nuts . The gunnels are exposed for rod storage Sent from my SM-J327V using Lake Ontario United mobile app
  12. Is already sold out . I went to order today . Will he get more in this year ? Sent from my SM-J327V using Lake Ontario United mobile app
  13. I love my new 2050 commander. Super deep and nice toe kicks for leaning over the boat . Lots of storage and not one piece of plastic on the boat . The only piece of plastic is the wash down cover and housing. Everything is all welded Dash windshield glove compartment everything is all metal. Should last me the rest of my life Sent from my SM-J327V using Lake Ontario United mobile app
  14. Is the launch really open at your own risk . Also is there any idea when it will reopen . I have to get the new boat out and get some kings for the kids . Thanks Sent from my SM-J327V using Lake Ontario United mobile app
  15. Cable is only rated for 12 pound weights. Plus it shortens things up a bit . Sent from my SM-J327V using Lake Ontario United mobile app
  16. I actually come up with this today. 1/8 inch stainless steel chain connector Sent from my SM-J327V using Lake Ontario United mobile app
  17. How are you guys using the Scotty snubbers with the X4 probe. I used it for the first time yesterday and had to use the Breakaway cable as well to make the connections work. I would just like to be able to use the snubber between the probe and the ball but the attachments on the snubber do not allow for that. Sent from my SM-J327V using Lake Ontario United mobile app
  18. Thanks I love it . Tons of room to fish . Sent from my SM-J327V using Lake Ontario United mobile app
  19. Thanks I Normally fish lake Ontario but I'm only 45 min from cayuga. So I hit that a few times a year . Sent from my SM-J327V using Lake Ontario United mobile app
  20. Finally got the new Crestliner commander on the water and fishing. Everything worked great and I'm very happy with the boat. Fishing was a little slow and please beware there is floating debris everywhere and a big log about 6 in under the surface on the West Shore. Anyone going out on Cayuga be super careful. Water is ice cold 54 on the top and 44 30-foot foot down. Sent from my SM-J327V using Lake Ontario United mobile app
  21. The main fuel fill comes in one side and out the other side to the tank . Sent from my SM-J327V using Lake Ontario United mobile app
  22. Is it useable without boots or killing your boat . Looking to come up tomorrow but west winds usually mean rough day . Thanks to all Sent from my SM-J327V using Lake Ontario United mobile app
  23. Do you actually need boots to launch your boat at Oswego Wright's Landing. Sent from my SM-J327V using Lake Ontario United mobile app
  24. I have not been to Sodus in years. Can you still launch right in town behind where the old tackle store and Diner used to be. Sent from my SM-J327V using Lake Ontario United mobile app
  25. I have noticed on some of my Spin Doctors and pro troll flashers the tape has shrunk and peeled. Some of the tape has shrunk to half the size it was before. It happened on both brands. I got some new ones and don't want it to happen again. Granted some of these flashers were 10 years old. And I have not been on the water in a few years before I noticed it. How do you guys store your flashers. I have to believe it is something that I did so I don't do it again Sent from my SM-J327V using Lake Ontario United mobile app
