  1. X2 best I have ever used
  2. the second release of fish from above was cool, very different, nice job!
  3. One important part of scents is to clean it off when storing your lures. Old stench is far worst than no scent. Not sure what is best, but I remember 40 years ago spraying WD40 on lures prior to fishing and the catch was great. I use gloves with cut bait, for me not the fish. lol.
  4. X2 on interstate
  5. PM sent
  6. Smart Troll will tell you the exact depth and temp where the lure is, speed is also s option Sent from my iPhone using Lake Ontario United
  7. that was great day on the water, with a great film to back it up!
  8. Original owner of a great Hoyt Trykon XL, has a draw length of 30" and rates at 60-70#. My age is catching me so its time to downsize a bow I can practice with. Its in excellent shape and will be a great bow to a hunter with some will to PRACTICE with it not just pull back once and shoot. Would prefer local pickup in the Buffalo NY (Hamburg) area thanks for looking Scott 716.480.7702

  10. Woodiebuster, you thinking of breeding, if so please keep my contact Thanks Scott
  11. or X divided by pie = 25 without the drag, then + for lure added by boat weight and sky color multiplied, but if headed NE it wont work anyways
  12. yes to both, with the copper I keep it to 2 per side to keep them farther apart
  13. think just like your dipsy, deep lines to the inside so the outside lines pass over the inside line when fish is on and steered to the stern of the boat. I've used the shower ring, but with a alligator clip permanently attached to the ring. On the alligator I had rubber tubing to cover the teeth. Then just a simple open the alligator, insert the line and out the tow line it goes. Just be sure to get a quick hand on the rod when you get a hit and reel like crazy to take up the slack. If you have 3 rods per say and mounted on a tree the outside line is on top, if rods are mounted in line on the gunnel, the rod farthest to the front is the outside, then it is easy to simply pick up hit rod and lift over the rods to the inside of the fish on rod. I love big boards! Its not hard to run 3 lines per side
  14. Aren’t mooching reels 1:1 ratio for reeling in, that could be a lot of turns! Sent from my iPhone using Lake Ontario United
  15. the posts are a great help. I have the shorter ones but 2 sets, one set at the rear and another just where the boat starts to flair in, maybe 10' apart or so. I power load and since I added the front ones I can load pretty fast with just myself right to bow guide. 19' aluminum onto a bunk trailer
  16. makes sense
  17. Just be careful with "line of sight" to the probe, with 2 outdrives in the water they may block picking up the other side probe. That is why I am thinking of making a type of Power pole mount for the ducer to drop it deeper in the water to clear my outdrive.
  18. I just bought the smart troll and built a shaft with the transducer mounted to it so its not yet permanently mounted to the boat. Now when I get set up and drop lines to fish I will clamp the shaft to my transom so I can move it around to get the best possible location. Im thinking if its the lowest thing in the water the best it will work. Then maybe making a type of lift/drop mount for the ducer if it is best to be deeper in the water, I’m-told line of sight for best signal. Sent from my iPhone using Lake Ontario United
  19. I run a section of mono for the clips on big boards if braid backing, or all mono if you can fit it
  20. Great spot on the Canada shore Sent from my iPhone using Lake Ontario United
  21. Thanks, I need a new cable and wasn't sure weather to get the Moor 150' or others I see up to 400', thinking 400' so I can cut off as needed.
  22. Assuming all is perfect, connections etc, how deep can they run and still get the signal?
