  1. There is going to be a trade off as opposed to carpet. Nautolex is the vinyl that dominates the marine market-goes down easy and gives a professional result.
  2. There is the real possibility of the NYS senate which is currently controlled by the Republicans will be controlled by the Democrats after November due to a shift of a couple seats. The concern then would be one party controlling the Senate, the Assembly and the Governor's office.
  3. Had someone come and look last weekend and bad luck appeared as the motor sputtered, died etc. Not a good show for a sale. I took the motor to a shop for repair, had the carb cleaned out etc(motor has not been run in three years). It is now good to go , so this boat with this motor as a power option is available again.
  4. I still have the Mercury, just trying to sell it either way. Yes I would sell the 15 Johnson for $700.00
  5. Bench seats have foam floatation under them. Motor runs great.
  6. Sold 11/7/18 location in Dunkirk NY. New information as of 10/10/18-new tires on the trailer, carb cleaned and fuel system checked on motor. 1983 Mirro Craft 14ft Deep Fisherman, 1984 Boyer Trailer, 1986 Johnson 15hp, electric motor, depthfinder, spare tire. Boat, motor, trailer in excellent condition. Boat does not leak. New tires on the trailer 10/18 $1350.00 or best offer
  7. Tiara which makes the Pursuit is a top line boat. I have a 1989 20 ft. Still a 1984 is a thirty five year old boat. Based upon my own boat, I would start with a thorough inspection of the transom, looking for cracks etc., is the molding at the top of it in tact and not letting moisture or water in?. Mine has a passage to get to the rear cleats, I would reach in there or look in there and see if the top edge of the wood backing is visible. As for the motor, the V6 Mercury has a history going back to the first Black Max in 1976. Parts are around but again it is an old motor. Bottom line on this is what are you paying for it? That determines how deep you want to jump in having a surveyor look at it or at least someone in the boat business who knows their way around and can give you an opinion.
  8. Way back in the day, the 60's and 70's boats were to rest on the keel rollers, the bunks were there for support to keep the boat from flipping off the trailer. As time has gone on, the center keel rollers have been reduced or even eliminated all together-so raising those bunks up should not be an issue. Single bunks also were and are still fairly common.
  9. I believe the vinyl would be a moisture trap. I would paint the underside and have done that successfully with boats in the past.
  10. 11/24/18-sold Location is Dunkirk NY 1987 Evinrude 25hp long shaft with controls. It needs the following: Impeller, new prop, and probably a carb gasket kit. I can show you that it runs and it shifts fine. Has a new ignition switch. $450.00 or best offer 11/14/18 No hose or tank comes with it. Motor stand does not come with it. Pictures show paint tape as I am doing some touch up to it
