  1. I think we all need some more details, symptoms. Is it stumbling at high speed, has a miss at high speed etc? Has it had a set of new plugs recently? How old is the motor? Do the plug wires etc look good, no cracks etc? Permanent gas tank and if so how old is the gas? Those are the questions that any mechanic is going to ask or anyone on here with a suggestion?

    thanks

Please read the following. This motor was on a boat that sat outside for six years. The wiring connections to the battery are not in the best shape and I did not even try to repair. Therefore, I DO NOT KNOW IF THIS MOTOR RUNS OR NOT. If you pull it buy hand it turns and feels like it has solid compression. Lower unit is fine, prop is good. It has wiring harness and controls, key is broken for ignition. MOTOR is complete package, all parts are there. Manual tilt engine, 20 inch shaft.

  4. Caught a mixed bag of perch, sunfish, silver bass and rock bass, upper half of the lake, 10 ft of water or less. Good opportunity to take kids over there with the probability of landing something and keeping their interest.

  5. Boat sold 5/24/12

    This is a project package:

    The good:

16 ft Blue fin which is in pretty good shape, no dents or real gouges. Once upon a time someone repaired the back two top corner pieces. It needs a new transom. The floor appears solid, below the moss filled carpet, someone laid vinyl, which has saved the plywood, I pulled it back and it looks new. Console is in tact, plastic windshield is fine side panels are there, pedestals for the seats are there. Boat is 1980.

1981 EZ loader roller trailer-brand new tires put on a month ago. 1500 lb capacity.

    The bad:

1977 Mercury 40 hp, cannot get it to do anything so no determination as to its status, could be sold off for parts.

$950.00 or best offer-good boat to re-do for winter fishing or whatever.

Please contact me with questions or for any other pictures you may want. Located in Dunkirk NY.

  6. Sold 4/15/12

2005 Chevrolet Trailblazer LS 4x4 , tan cloth interior, factory receiver hitch. I bought this used with 12,000 miles on it in July 2005. It currently has about 106,700 on it. As I have a 50 mile daily commute, it has highway miles on it. I have repair records which include recent brakes all around, tie rod ends, ball joints, transmission line replacement, bearings etc. No dash lights on. It has been primarily my main vehicle with usually just me in it, no dogs, no carting children etc. No smoking in it as well. It has had every maintenance need addressed when needed, including touching up the door bottoms for example. No rust or body damage. This one stands out among used Trailblazers. Asking $7200 or best offer. Located in Dunkirk NY.

Boat is located in Dunkirk NY. 1990 Starcraft 16ft Heritage, open bow fiberglass. 1994 Mercury 90 hp 2-stroke with power trim and 1990 bunk trailer. Boat has a convertible top which is like new. The canvas docking cover for it is shot, but have all the bows. Small swim platform on the back. Outside condition is 9 out of ten. Interior condition is 8 out of ten. Most of the vinyl is good, not cracked etc. A little strategic repair will likely get a decade more of use. Floor is solid. This boat can be towed by just about anything and on the water you get the ride of fiberglass. The mid-90's merc is fuel efficient and this boat will really haul down the lake. Asking $3800 or best offer. Here is a sampling of pictures and get more for you if needed.
