  1. RR, That's very cool. It's amazing the find your place year after year and my wife can't find her car keys day to day. Nice pic. LJ
  2. Final Flight, Scott can verify this but I set the league all Cayuga lake day for August 14th because that was the one of the days he was looking to set up this new derby. I hope I hit your date Scott. Mark
  3. RR, 30 mph winds he's begging to come inside is my guess. Gets some pics of him on your couch. LJ
  4. RR what's your best guess for wind speed and direction. Lil Jake
  5. sounds good.
  6. I bet you'd have a dozen hits by now if you were fishing for a winning team
  7. Collecting? What have you got a paper route. The money staying on Cayuga.
  8. Yes I am Scott. I'm hoping for some good weather so I can bring Big Jake, my granddad, 84 years old and still can't get enough. My son is also going to fish his first tourney so I'm looking foward to this very much. Are you set up yet at camp? Mark
  9. Hell Nick you buy the beer I'll fish with ya, my team is stacked they don't need me.
  10. Justin just post on here but no weights and remember you don't have to if you don't have time or if you a dumb#$$ like me and have a hard time doing it. No Nick I didn't here from Andrew yet unless he's 711serlz. That lunker deal you asked about is a good idea. I'll take $50 of the prize money and give $10 to the weekly lunker winner. I"m going ask that the weights are sent to me via a pm so I'm the only one with all of them. I'll post the team standings every week so the ball busting can go on but the weekly winners and season leading weight getters for each team will be a surprise at the end. That will remain a tightly gaurded secret but I wouldn't hold it agaist anybody if they were to try to bribe me for info with a cold beer or two. Mark
  11. Welcome to 711skwerlz, Team Seneca's newest member.
  12. That's cool Nick just don't round up that 5.7lbs fish to an even 9lbs and we'll be cool. Got another guy for Team Seneca this afternoon. So hopefully they keep coming in.
  13. Hey Wayne, I was out on the north end Saturday myself and will be up in that area for most of the season. Both days were productive this weekend for me. Pounded on the lakers Saturday(11 on flyies/1 spoon) and messed with the browns yesterday(6" rattling rouge sticks were hot all day). If your launching out of Dean's you could have fished my track yesterday on about a gallon of gas for a 6 hour trip. If your fishing this area next week for the league give me a call on the radio(68) and we can hook up. Mark
  14. Thanks for the guys, now here's what happen. I mess with the boat until late Friday night before I give up. About two in the morning I wake up out of a dead sleep and the light in my head goes off. When I got to camp Friday afternoon and took the cover off the boat I was suprised that I left my clothes(gmy bag) on the drivers seat, I always travel with the seats folded down. What had happened is even thou I had the cover on the boat to travel the swivel seat had turned and landed the the bag againest the tilt switch, the motor was trying to tilt down againest the "transome saver" that was in place for the trip up to the lake, blew the fuse and that was the issue. It's always something, but I'm back on the water and thanks again for the help. Mark
  15. Teams so far: Cayuga---L J---David---Stoutner---Rollie---Mower---(Split, I hope)/// Seneca---LB 88---Justin---Trolling 82. Sean Brown had said before was willing to fish either and LB 88 told me yesterday he thinks he's got another boat for Seneca. If I've missed anyone please let me know. We have enough in my opinion to do it so I think we go for it and hope some more guys step up this week. If you want in just let me know, I can get the money anytime by the end. I'm not worried about anyone stiffing us because if they do it will be posted all over this site. Work your buddies and lets try to get a couple more. Sean, If your OK with fishing Seneca it sounds like they could use your help. We've got Final Flight so that should even things out if you go over there,(no pressure Rollie). Call or write with any questions, 607-222-8889
  16. Yeah I did, but I'm really hoping it's something goofy like that I'm missing.
  17. I have a '01 lund with a 135 merc opi on it. I've got power to all acc. GPS, sub troll, ship to shore, lights even my 9.9 kicker will start but I have nothing to the main motor. The tilt at the motor won't even show ANY signs of life. The kicker and main crank off the same battery. All the saftey's I'm aware off are good and all fuse's look fine. I'm stump and just a little PO'ed. I've ran the boat for the last 5 weekends without any issues. I'm open to any opions I can get. When I say no power I mean nothing. It cranked in my driveway last night but once trailed to the lake she's dead as a stone. Mark
  18. You should be able to swap it out but you will have to re-route the cable thru the new mount. Go all the way back to the radio to diconnect your cable. It will mean a small amount of sodering to make the new connectiong but you'll have better luck with that then making a splice mid run, that coax cable is finiky stuff to splice. I'm no wiring expert but I had the same O-s**t moument a couple of years ago....Good luck.
  19. Dave and Nick, Things are looking up, I left all the info in myt job trailer but I'll post what we've got so far tomorrow. I think it's going to happen, just keep spreading the word. Mark
  20. Does that mean your in Scott. I hope so, was really counting on you to pick up the big one's down south while I pounded the monsters up north. I assume you saw how we are going to handle missing a week, I think it's fair. I'm mailing my entry for Barney's spring derby tomorrow and I'm hoping that the league Cayuga date helps with the numbers for the new Lansing Days Tourney, the more tounenaments the better in my book. See you on the lake soon. Mark
  21. No Nick, I figured I'd wait until I was sure it was going to happen. When we a couple of days out I'll let you guys that have paid know how many boats are in and then if you all want to go for it I'll cash the checks. If it doesn't pan out I'll tear them up and spend my $50 on beer while you take me out on that cruiser of yours. I hope these guys give this a chance, I wouldn't mind fishing with you, but I truely think this league concept will be alot of fun. Time will tell. Mark t i
  22. $600 takes it. Im on Cayuga every weekend, it could be picked up there.
  23. Gentlemen, The first day of the league is quickly approaching (May 1) and I'm still not 100% sure who is in or not. There was alot of guys that wanted in that I haven't heard from. I have only 6 boats paid up at this time. If you are planning on doing this please get in touch with me so I can finalize the teams and be done with the sign up process and get on to the fishing. Mailing address; Mark Peet 131 Ostrum Rd Kirkwood, NY 13795 Cell # (607) 222-8889 I can be reached on the cell day or night.
  24. Lb, Got your check today. I'll take you up on that invite one of these days. I'm heading back up to your neck of the lake saturday. I try to meet up with. See you on the water.Mark
