  1. Try drilling ahole in the center of the bottom of the larger size Campbell's soup cans. A small piece of duck tape will hold the line in place until you get a few raps on it and the can won't crush like the bottle I use to use. Add cordless screwgun and you can strip a couple thousand feet with one set-up. Mark
  2. That most have been a "Hollywood" laker.........more plastic parts than really parts
  3. Be sure to re-position your rods in the holders after you change thier location down the planner board line or you will have a mess.
  4. Spike I had the same problem on my 19' lund. Tapped 4 holes in the trolling motor mount (easy to remove) mounted mast forward and higher. Helped a ton with the amount of slack and board stall. In my rod holders I dropped in 1 1/2 dowels. The front one is 2 1/2" tall and the second is 1" tall my thirdholder I just lean out 1click and I haven't had any problems with lines hanging up on each other. The Bert's and traxstech stuff is interchangeable. Good luck. Mark
  5. Good deal Hal glad it work out for you. Sounds like a good day
  6. thanks for you efforts Nick, we are in
  7. I saw you out there and then followed you most of the way home, boat looks great, what beautiful day to be on the water, hard to believe the calander still says march. We worked north of T-Falls most of the day with little to show for it. A handfull of hammer handle LL and two 6lbs class lakers but the weather for this time of the year made it worth it. A tip of the hat to the crew at T-Falls for the work they did cleaning up under the bridge. Other than the jackwagon that backed out all the way from the launch to open water(wish I had video) getting in and out was a breeze. LJ
  8. Great post Bill, thanks for the info. Have you heard anything about the work at the T Falls launch?
  9. I can tell you and I think mower will agree, it will make you wonder how you ever got by without it. Its money well spent, good luck whatever you deceide to do. Wont be long know. By they way these AP wont steer around plywood so keep your eyes peeled, see u on the water.
  10. Hal, I have the Raymarine Sportpilot on my boat for 4 years now it it's never skipped a beat. My Lund is much lighter than your rig but a buddy of mine has it on his 30' Yan and it handles it fine. Mark
  11. There have been a few threads this past week where you can see the different launch's status. None of them are to incouraging at the moment. Tremen is super low and guys have had to "push" through the mud to get back in and T-Falls is also super skinny. From an earlier post they will be closing T-Falls for a week starting 3-5, hopefully to hoe it out some. I'd think about hitting Seneca for the next couple of weeks. LJ
  12. Took 8 fish Sunday mostly dinks but the larger fish (2.5lbs & up) all had them attached with one 6lb LL towing 3 along with it into the boat. It's far worse than last year I'm affraid.
  13. Sorry for your loss Scott, my thoughts and prayers go out to you and your family, God bless. LJ
  14. God bless the USA. Let us NEVER forget.
  15. Ya got Harlin's place 4/5 miles north of Myers. I think he's still at it.
  16. They have a very limited suplly of trolling gear but I did see some wire in there last week. Call ahead and ask they do have some good guys that work in the fishing department.
  17. Does it get any better than that????? Way to go Liam
  18. Get them in guys so I can turn them around for you. Mark
  19. Way to go Rollie ,, and great post, I feel like I watched it all unfold, without the streaky glasses of course. Congradulations
  20. See at your camp Friday evening Scott. I've got four to drop off.

  22. Last call for wieghts. Will post results later today. Mark
  23. Good call John, we should keep this towards the top and get the word out. I haven't seen any fish with those "markings" but most of the time it's out of the net and back in as quick as possible. I'll be taking the time to look them over from now on. Thanks for the link Ed. Mark
