  1. Way to go Pete and Curtis. Tom
  2. Nice job Mike and Kurt...I was a little disappointed that in some way shape or form Kurt didn't end up in the water though Your fishing stories usually end with Kurt going in after a rod or after the dock...sounds to me like he's a fair weather swimmer . You gotta love the adventure though don't ever let anyone tell you guys your afraid to go out! Beautiful looking lake trout. Great job guys! Tom
  3. He asked you to pm your email and he will send pics. Tom
  4. I believe they are refering to Lake Trout because they spend so much time down deep sometimes in the mud. Tom

  6. You bet your A$$ its better than work. Dustin said if you pay him he'll come out and show how to catch those silver fish . Actually he's still talking about the king he caught on Capt. Chad's boat Tom

  15. Cornelis, I don't know how much your looking to spend but these reels are supposed to be super fast its a 55 series Okuma with a gear job. http://stores.tunasreeltroubles.com/-st ... Detail.bok I just bought a lead core set up but didn't want to spend the extra money on the high speed reel. Tom
  16. If you are going to go with the lead core I just bought a whole set up the Okuma CV45D will hold 10 colors of core although If I had to change something about it I would go with the Power Pro instead of the Dacron that came with the Ready Core already set up. I went with a 6'6 medium heavy ugly stick rod probably could go with a medium rod with a little more length if your not going to be pulling 10 colors. I'm very happy with the set up it took the only two fish two weekends ago . Lead Core is a little more user friendly but like Gambler said if you want to achieve greater depths with less line out go with the copper. Tom
