The D & C today in Rochester said that with the rise in prices over the last week or two its costing the american population $95,000,000. more a day using the same amount of gas. I'm looking into a real nice mountain bike an even nicer survival suit and a good hill to get me to work! Tom

I have a hand held fish hawk 520 and have been happy with it. but the above unit in the link looks like it would be a little more versatile, smaller etc. Tom

It's been a 4 yr. tradition now that my father in law my brother and myself take the kids out fishing before the big game. Hit the ice about 9:30 am. We met my sons friend Josh his father Mike my brother and his fishing partner Dave, my father in law and my sister and the newest fisherwoman in the family Molly. Fishing was a bit slower than years past and the size was a bit smaller but all in all we had a blast. ended the day with a one man limit. The kids had fun playing video games with my brothers new Vexilar, can't wait to tell my wife that Dustin needs me to have a new vexilar Can't wait to do it again next year! Tom

J, I drive by there atleast twice a day , the west river that is, down by Middlesex, I haven't seen anyone ice fishing it yet but closer to spring they fish it pretty hard right at the state launch out of 245. Lots of gills crappies and perch it usually has pretty good ice into the spring just keep an eye on it. There's a bait shop just up the road on 245 "The Bait Barn" they have minnows, spikes, waxworms, jigs etc. Tom
