  6. Mike, Once again I had a blast. Don't ever hesitate to ask for a hand. It was a fun summer I appreciate you having Dustin and I when we could break away. Keep in touch over the winter if you need a hand working on the boat. Tom
  7. Kevin, We fished the south end about the same relults minus the size...but a fun day just the same. The weather was a little better then the north end until we decide to pack it in for the day when we had a quick snow squall! I'm gonna try and a get out a few more times on Hemlock before I pack it in . Take Care, Tom
  8. Awesome deer Kurt...!!
  9. The whole north end is a good place bring some waders and walk out off of the north point, there is a park called Vitale park where you can park or if you head west down 20a towards Geneseo take your first left past the conesus outlet bridge its called pebble beach road and there is a cartop launch down on your left hand side cant miss it . The south end of the lake is also good drive down west lake road to the end of the lake and there is another cartop launch on your left hand side in the inlet - a short paddle to the lake. one other place you can fish from shore is Long point park - west side of lake about half way down or so the park will be on your left. Tom
  10. My son Dustin and I hunted the traditional opening morning for Ducks with my father, brother, brother in law and a few friends, what a blast! We ended up with 21 wood ducks/Mallards. My son Dustins first Duck trip, he's 11 next year I can't wait to get the gun in his hand. My dad has exclusive permission to hunt the pond we hunt and he's been hunting it for 47 yrs. Every year its such a blast. Well good luck to all! Tom
  11. I don't know if he has suckers, but Arts Bait Shop on 15 about a mile mile/half from the intersection of 15 and 5 and 20 in Avon heading south has some good size shiners he's on the East side of the road at the go cart track entrance...call him about the suckers if you want. 585-226-9185 coming from Webster get off 390 at the Avon exit head west to 15 and head south get your bait and then keep heading south to Conesus....Good Luck!! Tom
  12. Chuck, We worked down near Whiskey point, and yeah the lake was really rollin, nice catch way to go! Tom
  13. Fished Hemlock today lots of active fish unfortunately not actively biting Dustin my son managed one lake trout 60 ft down on a cheater surface temp. has cooled off a bit but there was still a temp break at 50 foot down surface temp. was 57ish and 50 ft down it dropped from 56 to 50. lots of marks lots of streakers and lots of frustration but why would you eat anything artificial when there is so much of the real thing. Oh well still a beautiful day on the water saw the bald eagle he flew right over our heads. With any luck back at it next weekend. Tom

  18. Bradley, Another spot to try might be irondequoit pier my son and I were waiting for my father in law last year, a little bit earlier in the year like say Sept. , to go perch fishing so we walked out on the pier with a silver spinner bait and did some casting and hooked about a 8-9 lb rainbow there were fish jumping everywhere. Just a thought. Good Luck! Tom
