    Looking to get into some lake ontario fishing, i am in search for rod holders for my 17' Tracker. I have plenty of plastic rod holders on the boat but after reading all the topics its better to have aluminum or SS, If anybody has extra's and are willing to part with them please let me know, I'm located in Endicott, NY.     Is this boat big enough to go to lake ontario? i fish cayuga lake with it with no problems ? I understand I will not attempt it with high winds, don't have the confidence nor the experience to attempt it. but are there many boats like this on this lake ? Thank you for any feed back,All would be appreciated. THANKS !!!!!!

    went to myers yesterday morning its still closed.then went to long point everything is opened up. very poor day fishing yesterday all kinds of debis throughout the lake. good luck fishing!!!!!!

    lilboat We were in the tracker boat. We also did very good on LL. We did not arrive until 9a.m fished mostly 40ft to 140ft flat lining rapalas. Still no browns!!!! Are you catching any browns at all? Thanks for any information on the brown trout fishing? I'm having a tuff time catching those buggers? good fishing!!!!!!!!!!!

    I was one of those boats. We had a great day out of t-falls. We landed 6 dandy L.L. between 4-6lbs.We had 40-50 little ones.My question is were all the browns? We caught one brown all day.we were flatlining with rapalas most of the day. put down the downriggers 40 feet with a spoon and caught that brown.We were over 80-140ft of water most of the day. GOOD LUCK FISHING!!!!
