  1. Sweet!! I plan on being out there tomarrow!! Thanks for the report! Mark
  2. Yeah it was tough fishing out there. I left the docks at Huges at 5:30am and fished till 2:30pm and all we caught was 4 fish all day long. 3 kings (biggest was 10lbs) and a 8lb rainbow. We covered from 90 fow till 670fow. no pattern, no favorite depht. just kept changing everything. But it WAS a great day for a boat ride! Mark SS Buckshot
  3. Hi ya Nick. Thanks for the report. I hope ta get out there wednesday. I know if I buy a bigger boat the waves will just get bigger!! (Lady O hates me) Just wondering about that lake trout being 15lbs. In the rules, rule 16 says lakers have to be 30 inches to be wieghted in. Did that change? Mark S.S Buckshot
  4. Wow. This is very interesting stuff. I have been running 30 ta 50 feet behind that ball. Always figured the ball spooked them. Wondered how you boys were making such tight turnes. Mark boat:Buckshot
  5. took a friend for the 1st time stream fishing for trout. Turned around to get more cheese that we were using for bait in time to see him eating the last of it.

Boat Depth: 120 Lure Depth: Had 100 feet of cable outon the rigger ==================== SUMMARY & FURTHER DETAILS ==================== Started with a slight chop on the water out of the south that died away. Trolled east in 100 fow from Hughes running 1 rigger and one wire out 330'. Had a Watermellon NK on the rigger with 100' cable out, back 35 feet behind the ball. Didn't even get a chance to sit down. Boated a 8lb 10oz king. Reset it, just sat down and it fired again. Took off screaming then the line broke! ACK! After awhile the wire fired with a 4lb 4oz Steely. While bring that one in the rigger went with a skippy salmon. Got everything reset then had the rigger fire. Look like a nice steely jumbing then he spit the hook. Had something slam the wire, scream and then was gone. Was just about to pack it in when then rigger fired again with a 5lb 8oz King. Question: Is it me or does it seam that the flea's have calmed down? I didn't spend as much time cleaning lines as I did 2 weeks ago. Good Luck to all those in the Wayne County Pro/am this weekend! 10. OMG! I heard some of that on the radio. That will be hard for him to live down! Hi ya Nick. You and I met in Wilson earlier this year in May. Was our 1st time there. You had just finished walking the dog and 3 guys( Paul, Bill and Mark) where launching a 23foot red/gray crestliner. You gave us loads of info on the area an I just wanted to say thanks again! Mark boatname: Buckshot
  11. Hi all, I launched out of Huges but trolled towards Sodus.(6/26) We went 3 for 5. A 3pounder, 8.8 and 19.2. All kings. There was no real pattern to what they were hitting on. The bigger fish hit a purple stinger. All other info would match Rdebadts report. Mark boat name, Buckshot

  15. I trolled south down the branchport branch of the lake. I was trolling with the wind to my back. I will be down again tomarrow.
  16. No I don't fish down there much in the summer. Thinking about it though. Saturday, May 15th. I boated 3 fish 1 LL, 2 Lakers. Day of 1st for me. Caught my 1st LL salmon out of Keuka right off the bat.(17") Then later on I took 2 lakers on Slide Divers. (1 laker was over 3 lbs) That was the 1st time I used Slide Divers and was pleased to see the money I spent work!! lol I was using a Spindoc/fly(green) with the divers. Down about 35 fow. The LL hit on a Mag NK, silver/green off the rigger with 40 feet of cable out. Trolling speed was 2.3. Time on the water, about 5 hours. Of course I was trolling but I did see a few folks that looked like they were drift/jigging.(was a bit windy) I don't know how well they did. I think I may give it another try tomarrow. Good Luck everyone! Mark
  17. Hey Tap Unless they change to forecast for Ontario, I plan on fishing Keuka Saturday morning. My plan was for troll south from the state boat launch. If ya have a VHS radio, I can send ya a report on how the trolling is working. Buckshot, channel 68 Mark

Waves: 1 ta 2 Surface Temp: 44 Location: Ontario/Hughes LAT/LONG (GPS Cords): =============== FISHING RESULTS =============== Total Hits: 4 Total Boated:3 Species Breakdown: All Browns Hot Lure: Tiger green rapapla Trolling Speed: 2.2 Down Speed: Boat Depth: 10 Lure Depth: ==================== SUMMARY & FURTHER DETAILS ==================== I will call it a successfull shakedown cruise. Everything work. Would have liked to caught a few more fish. Temp on the shore was a steady 44 degrees. One brown was a monster at 10.2lb that inhaled the Rapala 13. Forgot to mention that low water at the docks. Workers said they can't put all the docks in because of the low water. i would say the lake is down a good foot and half.
  21. I will be out of Hughes Saturday. Plan on trolling west. Buckshot on 68, out
  22. Hey Huck I was out of the 1st creek area in 12 fow and it WAS slow but managed 15 keepers or if they are bit small I call them "Worthwhile" perch plus 5 nice gills. I just sat in one place and let them come to me. They seam to want a dark color jig tipped with both a waxworm and a spike (shrug). I didn't have any minnows. GOOD LUCK!
  23. hi ya ric! Love that smile on that boys face! I mostly start right at the north end of the branchport finger. Then zig-zag south to the bluff and head back. That pretty much makes the morning for me. I don't fish either side really. I am suprised you didn't see much on the graph. I saw fish all the way down and back plus a few bait pods here and there. good luck! mark
  24. Launched at the state park around 6:30am. Caught 3 lakers boated 2. 2 were on the spindoc/green but lost one. Other was on NK4-D watermellon. 75feet down, speed 2.3. on downriggers. South wind blew me off the water around noon. Mark
