I do like fishing in the morning, but with that said evening fishing is generally a more relaxed fishing experience the lake lays down or is more calm in the evening also. There is less boats out and the fishing is usually productive.

Start looking at the north shore reports as they start hitting kings first which is mostly a spoon bite, then they will move to the can and niagara river. With that said, as someone else said this year may be different. -
TOOK A RIDE UP TO THE OAK YESTERDAY AND THE WATER WAS LIGHTLY STAINED, WE ARE GETTING SOME RAIN SO IT SHOULD HAVE O.K. COLOR BY WEEKEND. EVEN IF IT ISN'T, 70 DEGREES AND ON THE WATER IN MARCH, CAN'T BEAT THAT.

NICE FIRST BUCK IT IS A GREAT FEELING TO GET THAT FIRST BUCK UNDER YOUR BELT, THEN YOU FEEL LIKE YOU ARE SOME WHAT A ACCOMPLISHED HUNTER. I KEPT MY FIRST SET OF HORNS, THEY WERE ABOUT THE SAME SIZE AS YOURS, I GAVE THEM TO MY FATHER TO PUT AT THE CABIN MANY YEARS AGO. HE PUT THEM ABOVE HIS FAVORITE CHAIR, NOW THAT HE HAS PAST THAT MEMORY MAKES ME HAPPY AND PROUD THAT HE FELT THE SAME AS I DID ABOUT THEM.
