  1. I run all okuma magda 30 series with okuma classic pro downrigger rods 8'6 also run wire on em for dipsies with 10' rods okuma cl55's for coppers

  3. been years since I used em but I used to snell a treble hook......few beads....peanut....cpl more beads....either 24 or 36 inch leader....then run it behind set of cow bells

  7. I prefer to run all lines the same length.....angle of tow line makes enough difference to allow lines to fall back.....if outside line goes just move next in line to outside rigger leads are determined by the fish.....I start with 50 on one and 30 on the other and adjust from there
  8. 20 mph NW wind should mean 3-5 ftrs.....fishable if ya have a good crew.....I love them days....good fishing and little boat traffic
  9. I have not been out it but word has it that its deeper now than all last summer....also heard there is a large sand bar on the lake side....watch for that if ya use the channel
  10. Selkirk pier near Pulaski can be decent off the rock walls at mexico point boat launch can be good send me a PM if interested maybe I can get ya out on the lake if timing is right

  12. you will find a few farmers that allow it.....first rule respect their land DONT drive all over it unless they say its ok....remove all empty shell casings many fields will be already promised to other hunters camo layout blind can be found at any good retail store silo's do work well....I carry 3 doz in my truck all season in case I want to stop an hunt an evening after work any call will get you started just get 1 and practice then practice more.....if your wife aint annoyed then your not practicing enough
  13. got out with mike weaver and kevin legg this morning set up right out of the creek headed east ended with 10 browns and 1 steelie dirty white boy and chicken wing doing most the work yozuri stick baits also added a couple 15-20 fow

  16. 25lb main line.....down to 10lb leader for browns....fleas wont stick to 25 or 30 enough to bother I prefer suffix line but a lot of guys use the big game I have very seldom heard anyone liking the flea flicker as it doesn't lay on the spool as well ( I heard ) the new bloodrun is supposed to be working well
  17. just used 3M restore and wax all in one on mine very happy with results had a few spots that were really bad and they cleaned up very well found it at ace hardware
  18. got the boat out today (wed ) no ice chunks floating in the bay lot of lil browns around couldn't find any with any size to em but even the little ones are fun to catch

  20. I always stack both riggers....never a problem I was told once that lower rod goes in outside holder ....stacked rod goes towards inside have always done it that way and always worked
