  1. Irish Wake/Hog Tide. Glad to see you guys made it in OK. We had our lines pulled ready to help. Thanks to TowBoat US we got another hour in. Fishing was better out same area today for us. Went 11 fer 14. Mixed bag with a 27 to finish the day off Shipbuilders. Flies were the worst we've seen ever. See you out on the lake. Kevin
  2. Your plan to call Big-Jon first is the way to go. Called them a month ago with a question and was told that I would be contacted by a tech. 30 mins. later my question was answered. My question to you is how heavy are your weights. BJ says 12lb. max for the Capt Packs or motors will overheat. Good luck
  3. I got a Furuno FCV-627 unit this spring with an Airmar thru hull trans for around $950.00. It's a FF only but it is great. Sent from my SAMSUNG-SGH-I337 using Lake Ontario United mobile app
  4. We think the USGS is moving them around. One day their in 160 FOW, another day we saw one in 40 off Forest Lawn. Also saw them off Durand beach. They do sneak up on you if you're just looking for other boats. I've heard of numerous guys snagging them.
  5. TerraPenn. Any idea what temps you were getting the browns in?
  6. Wanted to say thanks to all involved with the great SCS tourney. To Scott B for meeting me Thurs to register and Bruce at Sandy Marina for treating us like old friends. And also everyone at weigh in. Fished on the Scamaniac boat placing 13th and proudly representing I-Bay with biggest Steelie. Wished we could have fished today. Can't wait till next year. 7. Nice job. Thanks for the report. We'll be out there tomorrow AM. Hopefully the temp is not too deep.
  8. I've got 1 rigger rod with 150ft of 30lb flea flicker and 1 with 20lb. Just came in from AM troll out of I-Bay and the fleas were everywhere but the FF. The 20lb ties a smaller blood knot and runs thru the eyelets better than the 30lb you have small eyes like my rigger sticks. Just my opinion.
  9. Great fish and an even better recap
  10. Had some on our wire and braided dipsies out of I-Bay on Wed. Not as much of a pain as the cotton that is still around some.
  11. Nice goin Sent from my SAMSUNG-SGH-I997 using Lake Ontario United mobile app
  12. I'll second that. Even after letting the cotton dry out on my planer lines for a day it still fights back. Sent from my SAMSUNG-SGH-I997 using Lake Ontario United mobile app
  13. Sorry to hear about your gear, Chris. You were not the only boat to snag that 160 buoy on Sat. My buddys boat "Reptide" lost an X4 and a weight making a pass about the same distance. On Fri. we were catching kings and rainbows making similar passes around the buoys, but with little wind, and no problems. I'll pass this info to him about the USGS being the culprit. Thanks Longline, for that great explanation. Kevin
  14. Nice job!
  15. SOLD------------One pair Wille Sea-Ski boards. Excellent condition. They have ballasts with plugs to fill with water, or not, depending on how you want them to run. $40.00.
  16. UpGrady, on 17 Apr 2013 - 12:06 PM, said:I am not certain that my Costa lenses will last that long before the mirrored finish will delaminate. Not to worry Hans. Costa has a great factory warranty and cust. service to match. Another consideration when dishing out $200 for shades Chas. Kevin
  17. Give the Costa's a good look. Got the Blackfin Realtree frame and 580G lenses. Check em out.
  18. Now that's a nice shakedown run Matt. Kevin
  19. Don I've got no messages. Try again or e-mail me at [email protected] Kevin

  22. New 7.5Kg. (16.5lb.) claw anchor. $40.00. Rochester. PM to contact.
  23. Double board Wille Sea Skee's. Excellent condition. Each board has 7 chambers that you can fill with water to run lower or leave dry to run higher. Depends what you're pulling. Stickbaits or copper. $50.00. Rochester. PM to contact
  24. Brian. That setup sounds workable, but be aware that once the fleas start the braid won't cut it. Work towards 4 wires and your depths will be more predictable also.
