    We walked around down there at the park spot and trail along the creek this past Sunday. Was really cool seeing a few 4-6 lbsers in the creek still.

    I bought one new last fall at gander. absolutely awesome. Quiet and easy to use. Its gonna be a work out till you figure out all the little tricks. I love mine I gun hunted with it in Allegany with my rifle...sweet deal pick any tree that is open for 25 feet and go. I had deer standing right under my feet 3 times. Just spray up good before you climb and use the safety harness!!!

    tbulhead the guy on patrol for the city has I suspect caused some confusion? I also have seen guys fudging with larger outboards. Well be careful maybe they let it slide now and.again but I am sure if it becomes frequent a few tickets will be passed out.

    Yes on and off around Almond too. I was off on the rut this year my trail cams were on fire from 10/25- 11/3. Came earlier than I expected as far as a peak seeking phase. Always earlier around my property in heave acorn years. The mast is just unbelievable this fall.

    I would have this checked into further . I heard from a reliable source that outboards above 9.9hp are not allowed on a boat at all. Disabled or otherwise. Don't risk a ticket call the DEC office in Avon or stop in and ask.

    !!! Right on we have acreage in Almond. Keep a good section untouched let it overgrow and stay out except for the edges a couple trial cams. We started doing this 5 years ago huge difference in keeping older deer close by. They need a safe spot to hang out . Food is everywhere its about being in a killing tree when the first bunch of does go hot. Good luck 20 acres is awesome!!

    Hope you find it lousy feeling all.been there. What does the arrow look like. Is it still in the deer? Two years ago I had a big 9 pt carry an arrow for 6 hours in his chest. Stuck I too forward but stayed in stuck in the opposite side leg...spotty but heavy blood for a half.mile let him lay over night yup found him.next morning 30 yards from last blood. Good luck get after him

    I have a fresh tree rub on my property in Almond. Post a pic later looks like an early rub line I think the cold nights in the southern tier have em roudy. We also have a bumper acorn crop that gets them ruttin early down there. Yes love this time if year!!!
