  3. Seems very quiet for reports is it fishing ok? Heading down hopefully this weekend in the yak. Anyone been out there it looked low on the north spillway last night I drove past.
  4. Me too always all that fresh air , nice morning fishin !!
  5. Not a dog, a mink looks like. They wander the shoreline and swim there too. Maybe a trapper lost one? Or even raccoon they have long nails
  6. Pretty cool too
  7. My last 4 bow kills meant . Look at this freaking pig black on my land in Allegany
  8. State Land I hunt is not "crowded" because nobody hunts any more guys. My last 4 bow likes were on State land ...very quiet . So where is it crowded?? That was the 70s and 80s...crowded maybe opening day of gun and Thanksgiving.
  9. Yeah I just want them on the ground and in the jerky drier sorry dude I love the crossbow.
  10. I replied in support my daughter loves the crossbow .

  14. Basically a miniature wolverine. Yes nasty I have a trail cam of one in Allegany 3 years ago got 6 hanging now hoping to get more but seeing way too many pics of these past 2 years
  15. That was awesome I remember when we used to just fish for fun
  16. Tried it with a buddies 14 a few years back not deep enough too steep and not alot of room go early to the State launch yes agree.
  17. My last shot before I ditched the 14 for a yak
  18. That launch was an adventure when I had my 16footer man in late July I was swimming out there. I think that's the absolute best thing no freaking big obnoxious boats busting by at 40mph. Love it nice n quiet your not swiveling you head around like an owl to save her ass.
  19. I don't miss the whine of the stupid motor you miss alot in a noisy boat and I see more fish!!
  20. It's fascinating to envision so many cottages and human structure along this lake shore ..speaking of Hemlock. Today's tranquil shoreline as wild as it gets west of the Adirondacks. Ya gotta spend a few weekends skurting the shore line, there are subtle landmarks on both shores most of us regulars identify a few areas but time on the water is necessary. I know the city has a map available it shows some changes in the shore line I think you will be surprised I don't think of this lake as a "bowl" at all but years of exploration make it very special I hunt and fish both shorelines many fond memories . Good luck I am yaking it now down there and love it.
  21. Great advice!! Had this happen last Nov.on opening of crossbow in Almond. Biggest buck I have seen in 10 years at 40 yards just too many limbs and saplings in the way . Be really careful walk slowly if you cock it before walking to your stand and of course unload that bolt before you climb up. And always use a hunter safety system climbing line!!! I have them on all my trees now great investment!!
  22. I've sold 4 aluminum boats and that's a good offer I am not kidding
