  4. another note on Bear Creek. In the summer in the evening it seems to be a popular place for the ski do's to run. And most of the owners of these machines do not live in town, and do not have parking passes, plus they park with their trailers on the lake side of lake road. Which makes it very congested. And I have never seen a cop or Ontario employee check them. makes it tough for a regular fisherman to get in and out.
  5. thanks for the replies guys. I like the one with the wine cork especially . A good reason for a glass of wine. LOL
  6. I was reading the new Outdoor Life magazine and they said to put 80 to 150 pound test braid on your downrigger to repace the wire cable to carry the weights down. This will get ride of the hum and is much less visible to spooky fish. I'm not sure if this would be a good idea? what do you guys thinK?

  11. the boat that we are trying to fix had a leak. the screws that held the transducer were not put in properly and it leaked like crazy. this is a boat we bought. It was listing so we removed all the old foam. and of course fixed the leak. We removed the foam because it was all wet. I am not sure i would like to put in foam again. I was wondering how you felt about putting in the foam boards you get a Lowes, cut up in the boat. This way water could flow out without a problem. we are lucky the stupid thing didn't sink.
  12. thank you
  13. I am going to buy some flotation foam for my boat as the old stuff is really water logged. What product would you suggest. thanks
