The only reason I wanted the backer was to protect the spool on my Okuma 30DX any other ideas or just spool it up and forget about it?

Fished with Jason today out of severne had an awesome day and found some hungry fish, had a stiff west wind lake picked up a little and then layed back down flat! Fished from 6:30 to around 1:30 and put 30+ fish in the boat all hit on SD and BW flies off riggers and dipsys. Thanks Jason for all the tips and a great day on the water! Hope to do it again! Camera was dead Jason got some pics! Overall great day

Lemon lime ,pink golden walleye, purple grape seem to be the best ones so far. Jason you are right looking back the trebles did have a better hook up than the singles. We had a lot of releases with singles with no one home.Wish there was more guys around like Dave.Some havent even been in the water yet
