  1. When paying someone here with paypal, pay them as a "friend or relative". This way Paypal doesn't take any fees out of the seller. It's just a nice thing to do. Greg
  2. I'm looking for a rod holder
  3. Found this 3 page blog. Good to know if you've never done it before http://www.pbase.com/mainecruising/stuffing_box&page=1
  4. Price reduced. Metal base, even the top mounting block is aluminum. One sold, I have 1 of these left, $60.00 + ship. Money Order or Paypal
  5. I wonder how tubing between the two hooks would work?
  6. I might have something you're looking for. There's an ad for my 25' Penn Yan listed here. It located in Mexico NY
  7. You won't be disappointed. Do 2 coats, I believe I bought 1 gallon for my 19'er. It comes with a high nap plastic roller cover.
  8. I used durabak on my boat about 4 yrs ago also. Tough as nails.

  10. Thanks for that information on your blog BR. Your tips should improve the way my homemade inlines track. They work fine the way they are but the fine adjustments should help.
  11. This is the corrected plan. The problem was the 19 1/2" hole should have been 19 1/4". It's 60 degree cut. planer board plan (2).doc
  12. Chad If you're still looking, my Penn Yan 257 Aggressor is for sale. It's at Mike's Marina in Mexico Greg
  13. Maybe the DEC is trying to create a balance between salmon and bait. If the salmon mature in 3 years, it leaves more food for other salmon to grow. I believe it was KM that said you can’t have both 40lbers and lots of them too. I'd rather see more fish than larger fish.
  14. Just received an email from Shimano Thank you for your recent inquiry. I have yet to hear of any issue regarding our Talora rods doing this w/ a Daiwa line counter so you should not have a problem what so ever. Regards, Matthew Sharabi Web Customer Support (877)577-0600 fish.shimano.com
  15. Blame your less and smaller fish on the Zebra. The water is too clean, fewer plankton = fewer bait = smaller and fewer fish. Plus the fact that fish can see your boat and lure easier doesn't help. Long leads, 500' of copper??
  16. Using for kings. Hope the hell they're good, after $330 for 6. Actually it was a very good price $55.14 each free shipping and no tax. Everybody else want $70 plus ship. http://www.superiortackle.com/
  17. I've been making my own flies for over 10 years, pretty simple to build them, takes less than 2 minutes. Anyhow, some time ago I purchased a few Howie flies and noticed a plastic sleeve over the fly material. Does anyone know if there's a tool that you use to put that plastic sleeve on with? I've always used thread but figured I'd ask. Thanks
  18. I bought them already, DXT862MR. I went to the Rockland county Sportsmen show and Daiwa didn't have them. After all the questions I asked about the Shimano rods here too.
  19. No, I won't be attending.
  20. How do you like them?
  21. Call them up and ask them to reduce the ship cost
  22. Kind of hard to read but here
  23. Yankee is right. You're not going to get everybody to write down everything they caught. It would be impossible. I do it for my own records but I'm sure most people don't. The statistics the DEC comes up with are just like the utility co. does with my electric bill during the winter months, "average". Another impossible task to count every fish caught. Any natural reproduction IS a bonus but I hope the DEC doesn't count that with the total stocking
