  1. Yea, the guy was very picky about the boat. Everything had its place and very clean. The survey was good, so I had to buy it. Things won't change with it as my wife likes to keeps things tidy too. Me on the other hand.... she reminds constantly about putting my lures away.
  2. I found it in Henderson Harbor. Just a few small alterations to my liking and its ready to go. And it was close to my home port of Oswego to boot. Finally, after 3 years of looking. I thought we wanted a Prowler or Rampage (hardtop) but after seeing the boat "Broad Horizons" in Oswego, I knew that was what I wanted. Now, SOMEONE BUY MY OTHER PENN YANN!
  3. I posted an ad for this

  8. I don't know. I've never fished a hardtop but I hear there's a lot of noise in the cabin
  9. I'm happy to say that my quest is now over. I'm the new owner of a 1996 Penn Yan Predator. In a few days I'll get some sort of ad and put it here for my 1989 257 WA Penn Yan Aggressor. Of course its 25' and has a 9'4" beam. Never got pulled over for over width It is being brokered by Mike's Marine in Mexico. http://mikesmarina.com/pre-owned-boats.html 315-963-3119 Mike has maintained the boat since about 1994 and can vouch for any work done. Thanks for all that helped Greg
  10. Anyone know if an 840 probe will work with an 800 readout unit?
  11. Had to say it

  13. Salmon
  14. You are a boat
  15. Also check with Mike's Marina in Mexico. He fixes boats too. http://mikesmarina.com/index.html
  16. Cameras are cool and all but I found that I'm watching the camera more than paying attention to my rods
  17. Looks like nice country. Thanks for sharing
  18. I’m wondering what most people use to estimate the value of a boat they want to sell? Kelly, NADA, BUC, ABOS?
  19. I need a body too and I checked with 307 about 9 months ago. They're hard to come by. Screwy Louy has one that I knew of
  20. Thanks guys. That works
  21. I had an eye come off one of my dr rods. What can I use to remove the varnish or whatever it is, over the wrap? Finger nail polish remover, paint stripper? Its a fiberglass rod Thanks Greg
  22. At least the DEC has been out and around getting numbers or not on catch rates and talking to people. I’ve seen them a few times in Oswego, weighing, measuring, taking scale samples, etc. So they’re doing their job, getting a pulse of the lake. And that’s valuable information for all of us. Not an easy task, taking care of half +- of 7,340 square miles of water
