I use a 19' Sea nymph for trout & Walleye & 25' Penn yan mainly for Salmon Looking for a 298 Penn Yan Predator & 15' or 16' Sea Nymph for small lake fishing (ya got one?). I like fishing.

I enjoy visiting here daily, reading and sometimes posting. However, when I read a post and want to return to the main menu, the back button doesn’t work. Its only on this site where the back button doesn’t work. Anyone else having the same issue?

Be nicer if I could find one. If anyone is interested, there's a 1989 in Cape Vincent. I took a look at it. The guy is asking 17k, no trailer, needs a little elbow grease. Canvas looked good. The Teak needs a lot of attention. I didn't hear it run as it was dry docked. The guy used it mainly for Musky fishing. Ad is on Craigslist. If it were newer I would be more interested but my current rig (25' Penn Yan) is an 89. If I find one, my current boat will be on the market. I love my boat but would like something a bit bigger and newer for when I retire. Wait a minute. I AM RETIRED!

I read & hear about Backtrolling but I don't understand why people do it. If I need to slow my boat down, I just throw out a bag or two. What's the deal?

Looking for a 1994 or newer. Something that hasn't been used for a charter or fished to death. With a trailer would be nice.

I predict a near discontinuance of Chinook stocking, due to the amount of reproduction that’s happening. I don’t know if the DEC still does fin clipping but I didn’t catch a fin clipped fish this year. I only wish that the Oswego river was better for spawning fish.

I don’t do tournaments. However, the fact that the weather was not the best, the officials that determine stay or go might have looked at Sunday’s forecast and made their decision on that information. And as Gamblers said, If you can’t play with the big dogs, “STAY ON THE PORCHâ€. Everybody knows that tournaments and nasty weather are a given. $800, that’s a lot of groceries!

I had the same problem with mine, so I just don't use it. However, if you're looking to refinish your floor, I used These guys three years ago and the floor is still going strong. Anyone know of a marine surveyor in the Cape Vincent or nearby area, how much they charge, do they charge by the foot, etc. any information would be great. Thanks Greg

Water leaked into the transom because the support brackets for the swim platform were below the waterline and water seeped in where it was fastened with screws

I couldn't find a web for Captain Gary's. 307 didn't have that part, but then again its a disscontinued part. Anyone have or know of someone that has a few used housings?

I HAD B US too and they denied a claim for a waterlogged transom. Boat was in Sodus Boat Works (great people to deal with), rep came and checked it out and flatout said it wasn't covered. I dropped them like a hot potatoe the next day. Who needs that bs?

Looking for 2 of these older Cannon Magnum 10A Motor Housing part # 1243600. Seems there's an issue with the housing cracking where the gear post goes into the plastic housing. These are the black aluminum body downriggers. The downriggers work perfectly but when I opened them to service, I noticed they were cracked by the motor gear post. Anyone know if these have the short-stop feature? I didn't try and see if they did when I had them on the boat.

I also have one and use a portable 12V tv/vcr/ recorder. I tried the DVD player but I had the problem with bright sun also.
