  1. Looking for an 840 head unit only
  2. Fishing out of Oswego is less than good. Fished yesterday from 3 until dark and could count the fish I saw on my ten fingers and not even a release. I heard fishing was better down by the nuke plant.
  3. I use my transom saver even if 'm going ten miles. I suggest using it
  4. Who makes these?
  5. Thanks for the suggestions Pap!. I just bought the boat last fall and this was the first oil change as we haven't used the boat very much, under 60 hours. The engine is running about 10 degrees more than the other engine but I have a feeling it might be unburned fuel and I believe its running a bit rich, when I start, it throws a bit of gas from the exhaust. I'm going to have my mechanic do a tune-up, see what happens Thanks again Greg
  6. Problem fixed! I lowered the gain from the factory setting of 15 to 10. It works perfectly
  7. Anyone in the lake Ontario area do laser prop tuning? Rookie Bros told me who they use but I forgot the name
  8. 1996 Crusader engine runs fine. Had the oil changed 2 times, 2 weeks apart 3 weeks ago and the oil is black again after 35 hours of run/troll time. Oil pressure is fine. Starboard engine oil appears fine. Suggestions?
  9. I'm going to try lowering the gain tomorrow, well see what happoens
  10. Bought a new X4D FH last winter and it doesn't seem to work that good. First it will read fine then the numbers are erratic. Probe temp reads fine then high then low and after it cycles it reads fine again. Same with probe speed and depth. Batteries ARE 100% fresh,
  11. We did a skippy (released) and this 17lber on N&D cut bait yesterday in 300 fow. I like that cut bait out of Canada
  12. It works
  13. Don't forget, there's not a 100% return rate on these pen fish
  14. Not true. Hard times in Oswego yet
  15. Pair used 1 season then sold boat. 4 foot tall Great lakes Planers, vertical stack rod holders, 5x5 base (3 1/2" bolt pattern) with backing plates, 2 rod holders per mast, Big Jon planer reels spooled with 150’ of 200 lb Dacron tow line, with pulley and bracket assembly. Great condition. These cost $675 +tax when new, selling for $350.00. Meet in Oswego
  16. Good idea, better tell the rest of the charters about SOS. It's sad but I see charters keeping small fish all the time. Ask the fish cleaners how much they see it. Maybe the size limit should be raised on Chinooks. Just saying
  17. I bought a 36lb 10 color leadcore and 40lb Tuf-Line dacron. I’m wondering how much backing to put on a Daiwa 47h
  18. Looks like fair weather for the Challenge. Good luck to all!
  19. All I can say is Thanks Again Mr. Zebra mussel, for cleaning up our Lake Ontario = less & unhealthy biomass = smaller Salmon, "according to this report". But I do remember years back when the clouds of bait used to go on and on. I don't know about other parts of the lake but in the Oswego area, there are less bait. We used to catch them on our lures ALL the time. Not anymore. And if these extreme cold winters keep going on... Unfortunately the gov is probably counting big on natural reproduction, so they can invest less for stocking. Yea, reproduction is a good thing but it's not a sure thing. Evolution.
  20. I didn't notice it was British Columbia. Guy might have free pickup
