The rig is made up of approx 40" of 50# Seaguar fluorocarbon, a 1/0 4X VMC treble hook and a 4/0 VMC octopus single hook. There is a piece of tubing covering the line between the hooks to help reduce the chances the line get abraded. Feel free to contact me with any questions or if you would like to see additional patterns and if you'd like to place an order. -

Would you like to try something totally different. That is what I was thinking when I designed these heads. Introducing the Big Eye fly. These flies have a 1/2" eyes!!! Each fly comes with a tournament tied hook rig using a #1 VMC treble and a 4/0 VMC octopus single hook. They are tied on 50# Seaguar fluorocarbon, that is 38" long. There is a protective piece of tubing between the hooks that covers the areas most likely to be abraded by the fish's teeth. I have added a number to each picture to help identify which fly you might be interested in. Flies are $5.75 each and buyer is responsible for shipping. Unfortunately, NY residents have to pay sales tax. I accept PayPal and CashApp. Custom flies can be made, and more patterns will become available soon. If you have any questions, or special requests, please feel free to contact me.

Wanted ISO planner board reels/mast
wherearethey posted a topic in Classifieds - Buy, Sell, Trade or Rent
I'm looking to replace my worn out Willie planner board reels. All I really need are replacement reels that have a 1/2" center hole. But I won't rule out a set of clamp on reels that will fit a 2" pipe. or a complete mast with power reels. Let's see what you have. I'm located in Cortland NY. I'm willing to drive and get them if needed. I'll be in Sodus Bay this weekend (7/2-7/5). Thanks. Chip -
Put in at Myers this morning at 6:30. Ran straight over to Frontenac. Fished from there all the way to Sheldrake. Went 11 for 15. Once again fish were in 70-80 fow. All but one hit were on leadcore and weighted steel 30-40 feet down. Hot color was silver and black. Finished fishing around 12:30 with a double on one rod. Mainly Lakers, but a couple of rainbows mixed in. Good luck to everyone, tight lines. Chip Sent from my moto z3 using Lake Ontario United mobile app

Hit the water around 6:30 out of Myers. Fish and bait were piled up in front of Myers but couldn't buy a bite. Picked up and run up the Frontenac. Trolled from there to a couple of miles south of Sheldrake. Marked all kinds of bait and fish. Finally figured out the colors. Went 12 for 16. Caught lakers, browns, rainbows and salmon. Kept one of each. Hot colors were black/orange, orange/pink and all pink. 35-40 feet over 70-80 fow was the best range. Caught fish on riggers, leadcore and weighted steel. Dipsies never fired for us. Best speed for us was 1.9-2.2 mph. Finished fishing are 2:30 or so. Had a great time with Dad and my niece. Good luck to all and tight lines.
