  1. Good point. In the spring I see a lot of charters dumping buckets in the Tuscarora park fish dumpster. Guessing they clean their fish at Wilson Boatyard cleaning station?
  2. A picture is worth 1000 words....did you happen to snap a cell pic Paul? Maybe send it to the DEC? or show it to the manager of the Nefane marina.
  3. The leatherseal seemed to last longer than buggspray but both seem to work well. Sent from my SM-G930V using Lake Ontario United mobile app

  6. I reluctantly bought a tin of shoe cleaner/waterproofing off a guy at the hamburg show. He claimed it had eucalyptus in it and would keep the flies off. I'll have to check next time I'm in the boat what it's called, but, it did work well. We also had pretty good luck with the buggspray product.
  7. Great job and story Rod. Glad to see you place in the pros. Your passion for family, friends, and fishing was obvious to me the first time we met. Good luck and hope you stay pro for the Niagara in the spring. Sent from my SM-G930V using Lake Ontario United mobile app
  8. Great box guys. Parking can be tough at krull park with a boat...you just have to walk a ways. Same at the Niagara pro am. Lotsa does a great job with the event. We've fished it the past 4 years and will be back next year. I was a little surprised when I read your post. The posted rules are pretty strait forward on weigh and picnic locations. 10. I have a 4g lowrance radar kit new in the box I'll give you a great deal on. Bought it in the fall but decided to go another direction. Sent from my SM-G930V using Lake Ontario United mobile app
  11. It looks like you have a couple slide in rod holes already. I'd mount riggers on gimble mounts so you can easily remove them at the end of the day. You can get dual rod holders on gimble mounts too. This way you won't have to drill any holes, just utilize whats already there. Most electric riggers have some sort of extension plugs. All you would need to do is unplug them and slide them out of the gimble mounts to remove. I'd opt for used electrics over new manuals for all the reasons listed in the above posts.
  12. https://www.fishusa.com/Clearance/Boat-Gear just saw this yesterday. Is this what your looking for?

  15. Why not mount reels to tubing in the front. Looks like you have open access to that area. You could run boards directly off your reels. That's how I've been running mine. Sent from my SM-G930V using Lake Ontario United mobile app
  16. Nice work. Let us know how it works out. If it has trouble keeping up going into heavy chop....just troll with the waves on choppy days. It should have no trouble steering trolling with the waves. Sent from my SM-G930V using Lake Ontario United mobile app
  17. Reference point from tohatsu might be of help. Sent from my SM-G930V using Lake Ontario United mobile app
  18. Which motor gives mores resistance when steering? My kicker has a resistance screw that can be adjusted down to almost 0 resistance. Not sure if main does or not. Both motors turn with little effort when my kicker is adjusted down. Sent from my SM-G930V using Lake Ontario United mobile app
  19. Anyone have a solution to getting a Lot of clutter when trolling into waves? 50 Hz setting. I have to turn gain way down just to view the bottom when waves get 2 to 3 ft. Sent from my SM-G930V using Lake Ontario United mobile app
  20. I'd run 2 dipsy flasher combos and 1 rigger with spoons. Sent from my SM-G930V using Lake Ontario United mobile app

  24. For sure. Launching docks are a foot under water. If you are familiar with this launch....the water is over the steel beams that the ramp docks are attached to. We launched my 22.5 Crestline that last week. I stayed in boat and drive to floating docks to pick others up. Also drove back on trailer when loading. My buddy had to have boots to hook winch up. Here's a pic from 3 weeks ago. Water was over everything in the pic last week. You can launch but he careful..olcott is better option and fish were headed that way last weekend.
