  1. Canadice and Hemlock are limited to boats 16 feet in length or less and 10 hp or less. (I think it's 10 hp...could be 15...can't remember) If you have a bigger boat, Canandaigua, Keuka, Seneca, Cayuga, Owasco, Skaneateles all have trout in them...I know some guys that jig Canandaigua and Keuka and have a good amount of success.....
  2. Probably seems unfair, but the tournament clock may have read 3:00...just playing devils advocate here. The world doesn't unfortunately revolve around the time on your personal cell phone. It's a judgement call really, but you probably should have been there 5 minutes early just to be sure. Next guy could have shown up 5 minutes later and pointed to his watch and claimed to be on time also....I've seen it hundreds of times at running events and such where athlete's disagree with the official time stating that their wristwatch proves they ran the course faster than their posted time... To be fair the tournament should have had an "official" clock they went by to determine the cut-off...
  3. Honeoye = yes Hemlock = no
  4. You could always just modify a regular bunk trailer by putting a couple of horizontal cross members on top of the bunks or remove the bunks all together and put horizontal members on it....you can then use strips of UHMW on those cross members to help with wear and lower the effort it takes to winch it up on to the trailer due to the fact that there is no roller on the end of the trailer to help... I've seen a few home made DB trailers like that which worked...of course the boat had to be ratchet strapped down to the trailer during transport....
  5. Maybe he's going to sit on the main outboard facing backwards and propel his boat at trolling speed by shooting kidney stones into the water.
