  1. Hello to all! I know it's getting close to punch time....any one out there that is starting to get the itch & feeling thier neck swell!!! I'm sure most of you have you fall hunts planned...in state & any out of state! I work for an outfitter in Indiana who has some prime bow hunts available during the first two weeks of November....peak rut!! These are fully guided hunts on over 13,000 acres, he normally gets $1900 for peak rut hunts , but is willing to drop the price to try and fill the spots that are left! Any one that has the time open & may be intrested please drop me a PM. I can give you all the info & GREAT trail cam pics of the monsters that this area harbors!! The best part is....unlike Illinois & Iowa, tags are over the counter & still available!! Good luck to every one out there!! Shoot straight!
  2. Don't give up man!! With these fish staging and getting ready for spawn they have to be there! I agree with trying different depths and different presentations. Lately anything in green seems to work with the spinnies & protrolls. One day we were hitting them 80 ft down and 110ft the next, but that was a week & half ago. Sure they are in even shallower now! Like the guys have said, get more folks on board so you can widen your spread and experiment with more lines in the water... Good luck! There is Salmon filets waiting in them there waters!!
  3. Hello folks, I know this is usually for fishing related...& that there is a hunting page.....but wanted to get as much coverage as possible. I have a whitetail hunting trip booked for the last week of October in The lake of the Woods in western Ontario. There was supposed to be four of us going, but two had to cancel due to job issues. It's a fully guided firearms hunt that was booked for $2100, but the outfitter is willing to sell for $1800 to try and fill the spots. I know it's getting late in the seaosn, but we wanted to give it our best to try and fill the spots! Any one interested feel free to send me a PM and I'll give you a shout so I can fill you in on more! Thanks Matt...aka "flashpoint"
