    I have a 1999 272 Fishermen. Full inboard single screw with a Merc Mag 350 in it. The nice thing with the fishermen is the open dance floor in the back. No dog house of any sort to fight around. I run the boat on Champlain & Ontario & it will handle anything i want to fish in. Top end 28 - 32 mph depending load. The GLE i believe is the mid-engine dog house...not my favorite thing to work around. Just my $.02!
