  11. Be careful with the cannon bases. I am a cannon man....but bumping bottom for Lakers I have broken 3 bases on my outside riggers. They don't hold up to the torque. I switched to the off shore stainless that cannon makes ( about $50 extra) but they have held up just fine. Just my .$02..... but if you ever bump bottom you might want to hunt for the old metal style they used to make or spend the extra $$ on the SS ones Sent from my DROID RAZR HD using Lake Ontario United mobile app

  13. I will have to look for a pic of the cuddy. I can tell you it has all three cushions & are in tip top shape with zero rips or tares. Also has a custom maple shelf across the front of the bow in the cuddy for storing blankets...life vests etc. The boat weighs roughly 5200lbs with the kicker & riggers on the trailer. Can be towed with half ton truck easily. Sent from my DROID RAZR HD using Lake Ontario United mobile app

  20. Saw this post ...I guess its a good one for me to chime in on. I just purchased a 1988 280 Baha Fishermen with cable steering . It is a twin engine & has an older King ap attached to the helm that does function well. I am thinking about switching the cable system over to hydraulic. Does any one have any experience with this change over? Cost ...work involved? I am going to mount a kicker on her next summer & want to tie the kicker to the same system ap to limit added expense & another ap unit to maintain. Thanks for any help guys! 23. I have run wingers the last two seasons with great success on an 8.5ft beam. They do pull pretty hard on the retrieve since I use cannon high speeds. With a a 3 rigger spread for kings you virtually fish as deep as you want with out any threat if tangles. I have run them with a 4 rigger spread for browns & they work great in that application as well. You do have to watch the split rings when running heavy rigger weights ( I run 14's)...as I have straightened a few out after extended use. As far as the dipsie & cable idea...never heard of it. I have run down & outs with great success... especially high sun .. mid day! good luck! Sent from my DROID RAZR HD using Lake Ontario United mobile app
