  1. Nice! Joe got me thinking about that "bucket list" when I talked to him a week ago so yesterday I booked a trip with Chad Cain out on Kincaid for my ma. He is someone that I have gotten to know b/c of this lure game and think he'll get my ma out for a good time and hopefully to have a pic like you guys just posted. I was born in the same town as Chad Cain so we hit it off right away. She hasnt ever gotten anything bigger than a bluegill so I am as excited for her as I was you guys on this trip.
  2. You have a story to tell your lil girl about when she was in Ma's tummy with your trip with Joe to KY. Drive safely back home and congrats on the fish, sorry it was a couple inches short but now you know the story of my love life, lol. Drive safe back home, you guys have people that need ya home in one piece. Good job checking something off your bucket list.
  3. Just "shared" this on facebook trying to drum up some more interest. Thanks Larry, I look forward to fishing it and I am calling it a late bday present to myself. Going through my 1/8oz Johnson Bettle Spins, sharpening hooks and adding double 10's to them- getting ready, better watch out boys! Will also try to throw down for the raffle table like normal.
  4. Hello to all you fisherman! My name is Brian Signorelli and I've recently opened up a welding business called Signature Welding. If you have old boat trailers or hoists that may be in need of repair I am completely mobil so I can come to you! I'm more than willing to look at any job. Feel free to contact me at (585) 278-6491 or check me out on facebook at Signature Welding.
  5. Makes me wish I had a river boat.
  6. Looks like an older one- is the top of the box still around? Curious. Thanks.
  7. Is the next meeting on the 18th?
  8. Cant wait to see the lil BlueEye soon .... best luck with that!
  9. I have kept it pretty quiet but over the past 6 weeks I have been gathering blanks from some of the best lure makers in the country. Baitmaking has given me some killer contacts that I wouldnt normally have and I decided to use these connections to benefit our new Ch 69 MI club (and my own tackle box but shhhhhh on that one ). Pretty excited b/c I consider these dudes to be the best of the best- Wiley, Blue Water Baits, Big Game, Custom X, Hoosier Handmades, H2O Tackle, Paul Fec's Hammer, Myers from WV, Muskietrain and I still have to talk to the infamous "Toothman" about a blank. All these will have my signature on them in addition to the parent companies stickers making them one of a kind and maybe a collectors item. We will have the very first foiled Wiley with a sticker on it making it legit, a one and only b/c it really does have Dales approval- just ask him, same for the other guys. All baits will be numbered and hopefully this fundraiser will get attention from outside NY also, some people in the know have already asked me to inform them when it goes live as there seems to be some real interest. My goal is sometime in May to get them finished and auctioned off as I am in the middle of a huge run right now, need a minute.... It will be neat b/c its the first time ever this has been done- many of these guys have never let a blank outta there hands before, way cool!
  10. Its not a fish but I just super glued a dozen bucktails to the bottom of Solgrande's boat last night. Its gonna be killer!
  11. looks like Nitro, Solgrande and myself will be there.
  12. Its a nice one for sure. I guess 61" from Lamoka Lake- heard from locals that the state record is in that lake. In all honesty- its tough to say. May be a 50" class fish that could be anywhere from 35lbs or bigger. Too tough to say b/c ur buddy is like me when taking fish pics- NO ELBOWS. It makes fish look bigger but makes it tougher to guess.
  13. I hunt some family land, lucky to have access to a few farms. I personally couldnt afford to do a outfitter trip so I just walk the woods until I see a decent spot and hang a stand.
  14. See you guys on Monday!
  15. Great job to everyone involved! Everyone deserves a pat on the back for such a good thing they are doing! Solgrande and many others will have plenty of good karma come next fishing season!
  16. Bob-o, when is that other auction going down?
  17. Did a little bowhunting in Monroe Co. Oct 12th. Got to go back to Illinois for a few days, its where I am from. If I lived down there, no way I would have shot this deer but I have gotten tired of coming home empty handed. and I even got to do a little musky fishing
  18. What do ya day about passing it on after that? I would be down for a good read and then pass it on. Ole Man is a good dude, very nice buddy!
  19. Man that Toothy bait is killer, just put down a bid.
  20. I made a special bait for this and IMO think its neat, I did a good size run of foils for Chris Haley in Kentucky who makes the Widowmaker Jerkbaits and one of these is what I will throw down. I have a foiled crappie with swiveling flashabou fins (super custom) that I am throwing down. It is a one of a kind bait and hopefully it helps out people in need after this tragedy, only one like it ever made so if you like it............ I can tell you that Chris Haley is charging $60 each just for the smaller jerkbaits (the big ones cost some change!). "Bobby boy"- do I mail it to you or what homey? LMK. I wish I had a few more to donate but I am 100% sold out, I seem to have a following with a few guys that call me about once a month and ask me what I have laying around and buy any and all baits I have. I may post a pic on here, idk. I try to stay off the radar and enjoy baitmaking so much more. Good job "Sol", I can say that it was a 4 hour "Kentucky Apple-Pie Moonshine" inspired paint job on this bait, man- that stuff will make a person blind!
  21. Sounds just like what we need Mike, if everyone wants to bring a couple extra bucks with them- we will have a lure fundraiser also to get the fund going. Anyone have any extras baits they wanna bring?
  22. Good seeing some of the guys last night. Next meeting should be fun, hope that everyone can bring a friend to get the #'s up.
  23. Thanks for the hard work Nitro- this week I am going to get more mahogany and will attempt to make a few baits to get us going with the fundraiser. This is the new shallow 7.5".
  24. Just wanted to show off a pic sent to me from yesterday 7/31/2012. This guy also got the 2nd largest registered musky last year on Chautauqua according to Muskie Inc records on one of my plugs. This pic looks very close to the one he sent me last year but this fish is way more "gold".
