  1. Wow- sorry bout that, unless they strip down the rods- those decals with your name on it wont come off. Someone will find out something but it may take a little bit of time. I think a choke hold is in order for that person when we find them though.
  2. Sorry to miss it. I play "ole man" baseball and we had a playoff game Wednesday so I missed the meeting even though I wanted to be there. I am sure I can get a bait or two in addition to the baits the ever helpful Solgrande rounds up to add to the auction. I have wanted to do this but I wasnt sure where the money would go? Is it for the baitfish or for the club? Wish I would have been there but.... next time! Good job guys getting it going!
  3. I talked with a guy from PA yesterday when he was out on the lake- did 4 fish in the morning up to 39" in the south end on a Foiled Perch Baker Bait if that helps. If your just looking to get a fish- go south and troll @ 4.5mph. North End has been tough but it can be done. Stop into the Happy Hooker and ask for a Baker Bait and go south IMO. Also for the tourney that was just there- Wiley did good on the small deep diver Wileys in Walleye and $9 Bass but your not gonna find those for sale at any shop on that lake, my baits also caught a few. Best luck and go catch us something, low light conditions were the best. Also try just south of the bridge, there are always fish at that spot.
  4. Make a twitch bait outta it and you get that extra "hang time" that other woods cant come close to. Good luck Panfisher!
  5. Use up that wood! Not the best for a casting bait but when trolling the extra density of mahogany really shines through. Chop it up and post some pics bud!
  6. Here are a couple of recent baits I have made outta Mahogany- the mahogany's run faster than any I have made before, its good wood! Ultra Voilet Blue Perch Silver Perch Foil- this color let Blueye, Nalod and me cash a check at the last tourney on Chautauqua.
  7. See yall there!
  8. When I last spoke to Jay Zahn he said Toothman is the contact and all info is going to him. I never received anything yet so...
  9. You know you can count on me to make a lure drop. Can't promise as many as last June but will get some, I do know a guy who makes some lures and I will talk to him to see if he wants in. He's a weirdo though and timing is everything with him.
  10. That pike is not as big as I have seen. When taking my Ma's old white poodle for a swim in long Pond a few years ago over the summer, one 2x that size took her down. Thinking back that fish had to be at least 7 feet long, just wish white wasn't the hot color that day? Man I miss that dog! But there are bigger in Long Pond, my drunk uncles cousin saw on even bigger. His was even bigger than the boat he was in.
  11. I will contact HQ and tell them they have the interest needed for this.
  12. Hey guys, Lex moved out today and my world has been flipped up side down. I am not going to this meeting tonight, just not in me. I have all the paper work here and if someone wants to pick it up and bring it, awesome. Sorry about this guys, to me it was unexpected. Address is 24 Post Hill Dr Rochester NY 14623 ph # 585-414-0138. Just called Dicks and made sure everything was still good for you guys tonight. I live a mile from the meeting place if someone couple grab the paperwork. Tonight the guy to take to is named Lee, he has been informed that the upstairs conference center will be used by you guys. Call me about anything. Like I said, sad day and it just ain't in me to do it.
  13. What all are you looking for? I have made around a dozen center pin rods in my life. Haven't done any musky rods or any others in the past 6 years but still have some of the stuff hanging around.
  14. Six hours of beer drinking for $20 and you get fed, come on- this could get ugly!
  15. Saw this up on Ebay and thought I would see if anyone here is gonna pull the trigger and bid. Starting bid is $300 and I bet it sells for more than that, only thing hurting it is its signed to "Sue". He had some crazy paint jobs! http://www.ebay.com/itm/330724548049?ss ... t_622wt_77
  16. You should get your boat wrapped also Chad. I am thinking a Baker's sticker would look really nice on that new rig! Whatca think about that? I will get started on it in the morning just because its too late tonight. It's gonna be great, I can see it now!
  17. Wish I had fishing that good- you should be giving us the tips!
  18. Chad- wow, those were my exact words I said on my drive home from that lake. I thought I knew a thing or two about fishin' but that lake really threw me for a loop. Like nothing I have ever been on before or since. Either way, it was really fun to watch you compete in an event you personally have dreamed about doing and making it a reality! You took a chance and in the end, you became a better angler, got out fishing with Mike, met some big name people that we all read about and fished a prettier lake than we get to fish. Congrats on going for it, hey you never know right unless you take that shot! I hope you don't over think those fish that followed/missed/showed themselves too much. You'll probably replay those follows way too many times in your head if your like me but most of all don't forget to pat yourself on the back for taking that chance most of us just dream of. Chin up homey, may the drive go fast and may it be the best musky season ever. PS- Tourney was won casting by the reining team of the year on Meduss'a (in bright colors like firetiger) over open water to massive suspended schools of shad and ripping the rubber through the schools. 2nd place was secured by casting 10" Jakes around timber where shad were present and twitching back really slow.
  19. what do you mean Ronix? Your a bucktail tying machine!
  20. Just saw Justin Mullins interview from this morning and said that he expects the trollers to do good. Something to think about- there is coverage on Muskiefirst.
  21. yeah- steve rowley catches those slammer pike. He's on facebook. You good Ole Man? Gonna start a few baits for you tomorrow, cut 16 feet of mahogany today.
  22. thats a Large Mouth Musky- only in Kentucky they have those did you guys "see" any fish today?
