    Wow talk about a blast from the past, seeing those rubber squids and dodgers took me back to the good old days! I still have alot of that tackle and still use it, I just never talk about it , Didn't want to give up my age!(LOL) Thanks Les

    I have been using the same Penn elect. riggers for over 20 years with zero problems. The only thing i did with mine was added the extension boom on. You will LOVE them, I am not sure about the cranking part though (LOL) Good Luck

    There are times that dipseys saved the day for me, I always have at least two in water. Flasher flys,or Dodger flys have been good for me in the regular colors.(greens and white) I have taken a favorite combo. off my rigger and sent it down on a dipsey and got hammered, go figure. Some guys say the fish like the sound of the wire, and I think that also. Dipseys are a must for me, would not be without them.

    NO BRAINER- wire line knot!

    Try a thumper Rod! I used one for years, takes a little getting use to but it will tell you what is going on at your baits and lures.
