All good answers,for me i try to play fish out as far behind as possible,in doing so it buys you the needed time to either pull one or two rods or just move to another holder. by that time you pretty much know what your dealing with and what your next move will be,Most of the time i prefer to let rods in!

  9. Yup I cant say that I blame you,good decision, I have a 20 fter thats real easy to handle at the dock and trails super easy but still would like to step up a notch. let me know if you ever change your mind, or want to trade! did you put a new auto=pilot on her?

  11. For me a trophy fish may not be how big, or the species, but more about the experience, Such as the people your with, or the tale of the story.

  15. No kidding, Falls is 10 minutes from me, the charter captains our darn good in general. he will put you on fish for sure. As for the species prob. kings will be be on top of the list, but if there not willing to play theres always lakers,browns,steelies etc. on a 6 hour trip you may get hit once an hour or 1 a minute ya never know. Size wise may be from 3lbs to 40 lb thats what makes the big o so addictive! Lot's of luck 2 ya- you will have a blast!

  18. Try strait out off river (were you launched) start looking for hooks around 80 f.o.w. Keep trolling north till you start hitting them.- GOOD LUCK What part of PA ya from?
  19. Run real slow, than through the boat in neutral for about 10 seconds than back to forward, WHAMO! Seems like they like it falling or just starting out.
  20. This year 50lb flouro. on meat rigs for me, going to 30lb mono on reel. I prefer 30 lbs flouro leader on meat but after one break off I switched to 50, problem solved.(Kings are tough this year)
