  1. I was trolling on the s/w side of Bouy 113 on Oneida late one morning a couple-3 years ago, and watch 2 fellows having a mighty tough time with what they had hooked. I thought it was a big cat, as there is plenty of those, there, but as I was captured by their struggle, I picked my lines, and threw it in neutral to watch. They boated one at what I beleive was at least 5 ft long. Quick pictures and back in the water it went. Heard that a 6'er was caught waaaay up in Fish Creek last year around the time of the Walleye opener.
  2. Folks I knew years ago, had a male, and he had his right hand moving almost constantly.......
  3. We;ve had good results from a SD combo we've run for a couple seasons, using a MD crush glow pulling a BW Butterface Glowtail.
  4. We taken some nice fish on twinkies behind an 11" plate or behind slashers.
  5. There were ice fisherman on Oneida today, about 1/2 mile out from the Bath House, in Sylvan Beach....................yowza...
  6. We've pulled Stingfish, flatlining off the boards when they are in close.
  7. It's gonna be "on like donkey kong"........!!!
  8. Interesting, yes, although I already own all the effective sticks(and then some, X 5) I need to to catch all the species I want to target, and as they say, a fishing lure has done about 3/4's of it's entire job..............once it is purchased.
  9. We usually eat various fruit, including bananas while on the boat. The fish have never yet seemed to give a hoot in hell, what we're having for lunch. Maybe we better stop?........................not.
  10. Northeast Trim Creek Rd. Oneida, N.Y.
  11. Always remember that just about 3/4's of a fishing lures job is completed, once it is purchased.
  12. I spent what ice season there was on Oneida, on the south shore. I've fished thru the ice on that lake since the late 1970's..................I pulled the plug a couple weeks ago, and didn't need a computer for that. I've been in the water before, more than once, and THAT is not my idea of a good time whatsoever.
  13. You'll probably sell a ton of those.
  14. FWIW, there were some die-hard, brave, hard-water fisherman on the East end of Oneida today. God Bless them!
  15. We have had times when the Suttons(Bill Clintons) are just plain out-producing the sticks.
  16. Actually those Moonshines will glow for 5-6 hours. I have a Charge Box, your box has much more capacity. Good thinkin'.
  17. There were several boats in the NYS Barge Canal, on Sunday, in Sylvan/Verona Beach. Suspect they were looking/catching Walleyes coming upstream. I would NOT go on the ice now whatsoever.
  18. We run 2 sticks off each side at 150 and 125, and spoons out the back at 90-100. Smithwicks, Jr. T/sticks, jointed Rapalas, etc. Generally running Bill Clintons(taped Sutton)off the riggers down 4-6 ft. 30 class Pfluegers, on Shimano Voltaus rods/10 lbs. = fun.
  19. Stinger, We run about 10 ft. of 30. We just run the drag right to the point where you can hear a "click' every now-and-again, to help avoid breaking off, and once we feel that we are hooked solid, then we can ease the brakes on a bit. If we are pulling a Twinkie, it does make for some "moments of truth" when they are at/near the net, and have heard words said that have agressive "K" sounds in them........lol.
  20. It's "on like donkey-kong" now! Gonna pull the big boat out of the barn this weekend and get it ready. Good going!
  21. Sure................'cause I'd probably need help...
  22. Even though there was 12" on Oneida last Sunday, I bagged it today, with the warmer temps we've had.
  23. 85 degrees, wind out of the w/nw 2-3 mph, 2, 23 year old blondes on the boat........but doubt if much fishing would be getting done.........
  24. 6' St Croix, with a 20 class Pheulger
