best launch site?

Yep. Pine Grove is super-low. -
Rude behavior to say the least on their part. Sailboaters seem to be a breed of their own anyway. They **** when there is no wind, and **** when there is too much, but mostly those boats are just tied to the dock, with their bar-b-que grills going, if they are there at all.

Coming up on Saturday to pull the camper home, and maybe, come back up Sunday with the boat. If we do, I'll look you folks on the radio. Bow season starts 2 weeks earlier this year, and we have at least 2 shooters on the farm we hunt on. Hellava problem to have, fish or prep for bow season. Gotta' figure out which sandbox I want to play in. -

Fish Hunter, we didn't last long Saturday morning did you end up doing anything? Dave Dave, We did 3, with 2 misses. That south wind was brutal(!!!!!) and we fled the scene shortly after you and Draggin' Fly. One hen was 26 lbs, but no way do they have the spunk as they did a few weeks ago. Scott -

A few select spoons, and J-plugs, would be a good idea as well. That ought be enough to get you going. -
We build large displacement, High-Performance Harley-Davidson engines here at our shop, for clients all over the country, and do use MMO in our air tools(for disassembly only), and we are VERY sceptical of power-in-a-can stuff. I thought, hell, let's try it as with this fuel today, there is no real top-end lubricant qualitys to is, vs leaded fuels of yesteryear. It do work.

Sounded like a nice morning. -
Digital pics, with boat name, posted here, could also have financial repercussions, ie potential clients eyeballing the un-sportsmanlike conduct. Not only that, what would be the affects in regards to his USCG license, once those folks have that documented/verified info?

Maybe he just can't help it, as perhaps his nautical/fishing/social skills cannot connect with one another????

Topped off our Islander last week, and poured the dedicated amount in it, for the capacity of the fuel tank. FWIW, it seems to run smoother(was not running rough)with the introduction of it. No more power, but just seemed smoother, and was not "in the hunt" for a marked changed. Just felt smoother.

Don't take this the wrong way, but you may be puttin' the pressure on 'em a tick too much when they are coming close to the boat. Easy to do, and we too have been guilty of this as well.

Fishing Report Your Name / Boat Name: Fish Hunter II ============== TRIP OVERVIEW ============== Date(s):8/25 Time on Water:6 hrs. Weather/Temp: hot/87 degrees Wind Speed/Direction: At first, about a 10 mph blow out of the South, laid down. Waves: 1-3 plus. Surface Temp:76 degrees Location: Between Big Salmon and Sandy Pond. LAT/LONG (GPS Cords): =============== FISHING RESULTS =============== Total Hits: 9 Total Boated:5 Species Breakdown:Kings Hot Lure: Eyeballman/Glow Hammer Trolling Speed: 2.3-2.6 Down Speed: 2.0-2.3 Boat Depth:130-140 Lure Depth: 95-115 ==================== SUMMARY & FURTHER DETAILS ==================== Couldn't even get set and port rear rigger goes off w/Eyeballman/Hammer. Boated the fish, re-set, port rigger fires, and then doubled up, as the Starboard fires as well. This time M/D Crush Glow/Big Weenie Butterface, both. While handling the fish, Eyeballman fires again. Whew! Get things in order, and the Eyeballman goes off again, but dropped it. Couple more swings/misses, and boated our 5th from guess what........Eyeballman. Changed up a bunch, but things died off. Saw beaucoup' boats working in tighter, but we like to stay away, generally, but STILL became en-tangled off the probe rigger, cleared it, and then their dipsey(that we had just taken off our rigger) got into our dipsey, in spite of the fact we gave them room. With 2 rods out of the water, we then made our way thru the 2nd mess, and all dipseys and probes were released to be caught once again, another day. Those fish averaged about 20-22 lbs. Good morning from where I stood.

You are not going to snag another boat, like you just bought, for that kind of dough.

Mighty good to hear this news, and was suspecting it would be good, soon, as last Sunday, there was A TON, of fish there. We'll have our "A" game going at 0-dark-thirty, Saturday morning. -
