  1. We run a variety of sticks off the boards, for the conditions, and custom-taped Suttons, off the riggers, juggling depth as needed. A lot of times, we can't get all our lines out, before we are hooked up. Won't be long now.
  2. Leave some for us!! Sounds like a great time! Must be I'm excited, as the double post. oops.

  4. I'm adding some decoy, lead weight, to the outside board, to help keep 'em from leaping.
  5. Have had them grab it when picking lines up, getting ready to go in. Few things feel like that!! Once last year, the Mrs. was driving, and I saw fish on the screen, streakers/lookers. I hit the toggle up, on the port rear rigger, and had her ready on that rod. It did not move 5 ft up, and it fired. It almost pulled it out of her hands. She didn't like that, but I thought it was hilarious.
  6. I like to watch 'em, and you can learn a lot. I never grow tired of that.
  7. That came out really nice. Really increased the working area of that vessel.
  8. He want's 30, 1 dollar bills. Certainly worth that, but me wonders, why I have the amount of J's, as well as spoons I already has. Think it falls into the catagory, that a fishing lure has completed 3/4's of it's job, once it is purchased.
  9. When closing the gap, it will decrease the size of the spark kernel, but it will enhance the intensity.
  10. ................and always remember, that a fishing lure's job, is about 3/4's complete once it is purchased...........
  11. You could get some, with fish on 'em. That is a good idea, though.
  12. If a "hotter" plug is being recommended, to put a band-aid on a problem, I'd fix the problem.
  13. I've fired 3 pm's and an e-mail, on these as they were posted. Haven't heard a peep yet........ Maybe he sold 'em?

  15. They all work, but always remember, that about 3/4's of a fishing lures job, is complete, once it is purchased..................
  16. Put your boat in at Skinners, and fish in the canal. Folks have been hammering the walleyes, as we just heard. Jigs I imagine. Going to get my 16 ft. Grumman ready, to do just that, if the weather remains as it has been.
  17. I had run PP thru those for several seasons, without issues. No nothing on mono thru 'em.
  18. I'm gonna whip some up for Friday nite's supper here. I heard the Mrs say, scallop taters were going to be on the menu too. After that, I'll be in a coma............
  19. Had 'em build a canvas top for the smaller boat last year. Nice job. Just wish I had known they did boat work, before I re-canvased my Starcaft.
  20. Simple dish we make all the time. 2 lbs Venison cube steaks 4-6 Vidalia onions, sliced 1 large can mushrooms 4-6 large red/yellow peppers, sliced Garlic powder McCormick Italian Seasoning salt/pepper Olive oil Season cube steaks with salt/pepper/garlic Pour oil about 1/4" deep in LARGE skillet, and mix in sliced onions/peppers/mushrooms, seasoning, 2 tblsp's garlic powder, on med heat until about 1/2 cooked. Place cubed venison over the peppers/onions, and cover, turning heat down to low for about 20 minutes, stirring occasionally. We eat this served over rice, by itself, or in sandwich rolls. Home run, everytime.
  21. Those Otters bring 1 franklin a piece, retail. Ouch!
